Overall an excellent first showing. Minor touches of cosmetic/UI improvement would be excellent, but the game already carries a very analog horror feel. Tension is quite present, mechanics are simple and balanced, and the atmosphere is effectively intense. I would definitely recommend as a characterful indie game whose minor amateurish touches are overshadowed by a unique premise.
Really fun, really simple horror game. Definitely worth playing, especially if you want that classic horror feel with an indie sort of style. Banana Co. is really great at balancing the high-stress, high-adrenaline moments that make horror games iconic with strategic and tense game play. I highly recommend trying it out!!!
This is one of the better indie games I have played. I really liked the vibe, it has a very FNAF nostalgia vibe to it. The objectives and achivement system is also really nice, plus the jumpscares are well done as well. Overall great Indie/ jumpscare game, highly recommend.
This game is a fun game to play to pass the time. I found it really challenging but in a fun way. The dynamic of having to find batteries adds a lot of tension in the experience while playing. The new update fixed all of the issues I had with it. The lighting is much better. I really enjoy this game and for 3 bucks I would pick it up. Would recommend.
This game is similar to slenderman. The jumpscares are funny and scary, and you'll enjoy playing this game if you like a challenge. Banana boy needs to take a chill pill tho lmao...
First horror game, got bored with shooting games. Used to be a pro in fortnite but recently started playing small indie games. Banana Co. is simple yet fun and gets your heart beating. Possibly better than prime fortnite. Highly recommend.
Great concept for a horror game. Optimistic for future updates!
In the unsettling setting of a banana production office, "Banana Co." requires you to navigate a difficult and dangerous route in order to successfully collect ten bananas in total. The gameplay mechanics are exciting and tactical at the same time. The tension increases as you make your way through the dimly illuminated office spaces, collecting each banana in turn. Every movement you take is infused with an adrenaline rush as you remain on edge due to the Banana Monster's impending menace. A sanity bar raises the stakes by requiring players to manage their character's mental health in addition to gathering bananas, adding another level of complexity. It's a masterful addition that makes the experience even more immersive.
This game is a lot of fun. It has the atmosphere and overall vibe of the backrooms, with it's expansive and maze-like map. The actual gameplay loop is also fun with it being similar to slenderman 8 pages. Everytime you collect all of the bananas the level increases, and the guy gets more and more aggressive. I thought both the map and the guy were designed well, and the map feels like a liminal space version of a banana factory lol. The jumpscares are pretty cool. Overall this is a good game.
"Banana Co." is set in the eerie confines of a banana production office, in which you have to traverse the daunting and perilous map to successfully obtain a total of 10 bananas. The game play mechanics are both thrilling and strategic. As you navigate the dimly lit office spaces, the tension mounts with each banana you collect. The looming threat of the Banana Monster keeps you on edge, adding an adrenaline rush to every step you take. The addition of a sanity bar adds an extra layer of intensity, forcing players to balance their time between collecting bananas and managing their character's mental state. It's a brilliant touch that heightens the immersive experience. The design of the map is ingenious, offering a labyrinthine office space filled with hiding spots, corridors, and unexpected twists that keep you guessing. The use of darkness as a mechanic to disorient the player adds an immersive challenge, urging you to strategize your movements and use the flashlight wisely. And the scattered batteries for the flashlight bring an element of resource management, adding another layer of complexity to the game play. Visually, "Banana Co." is nothing exceptional, but with its eerie ambiance and disorienting effects, its made up for it. Overall, "Banana Co." is a very fun horror game that seamlessly blends tension, strategy, and a dash of banana-themed terror. It's a thrilling experience that keeps you hooked from start to finish, making it a must-play for horror enthusiasts looking for a new and exhilarating challenge.
