I continued with the BAFF series and came to BAFF 3 - Running. From the start, the game fits perfectly into that "avoid-em-up" genre that doesn't forgive mistakes.
If you liked BAFF Halloween, you'll feel right at home. It's also a hardcore, minimalist game, where reflexes are king. I think the "Running" part in the title refers to how frenetic the gameplay is - you're always on the run, avoiding those obstacles that appear non-stop.
It's the kind of game that makes you get annoyed, throw the mouse out of your hand, but then come back to it immediately. The satisfaction of passing a level after 20 attempts is indescribable. It's a test of patience and precision.
Like the other games in the series, it doesn't have a story or AAA graphics, it's visually simplistic. It focuses 100% on mechanics and difficulty. It's a niche game for those who love die & retry challenges.
Overall, it's a good game if you know what to expect: a lot of frustration, but also a lot of satisfaction. It's a decent experience, but it's not for everyone.
