Really wish I could give it a better review, but it's just not worth $40. The difficulty makes no sense to me – I score 30 runs with the location assist, and strike out on bunts without it, and there's no intermediate option (like there was in every original, btw). Pitching is monotonous, fielding is still frustrating, I think the graphical "update" is a strict downgrade, and worst of all THEY TOOK AWAY ANGIE DELVECHIO'S THEME If you get it on sale, or if the devs update it to address the issues, maybe it's worth. As it is, there's just not enough there.
w game. super smooth and still the same amount of fun as the OG games. $40 is a little steep to be honest.
its so fun and is much more stable and fun then the last game
This game is fun but I wish they would update it to improve the many bugs that it has. For example, Sunny Day says "Taking the mound today" yet the kid is stepping up to the plate so it doesn't quite make sense. Also when it's a hit that barely gets to the infielder at second base she says "hit to right field." Another bug is that the player loses energy if you were to slide or sprint during a foul ball. Lastly, I wish they can add more players as I have already gotten the unlockable kids.
it is good
It's a good game but it's way too easy. On Backyard Legend (5-star) difficulty, which is the secret "super-hard" difficulty, I'm a kid and won 71-00, and most of the time I win 50-60 - 0-2. For pitching, all you have to do is throw pitches outside of the zone every time. The cpu gets bad contact or whiffs every time.
CPU has a ridiculous hit rate. They manage to smash everything, even balls way outside of the zone. Fielding also feels strange and clunky. Hoping for some adjustments in the future but hard to recommend currently.
