probably the worst game ive played in years. you get keys that dont even work at the hub and and if you think you have the right key nope you havent. not scary, fun or even playable. DONY BUY THIS ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GAME
good game but, MY POTATOE PC CANT HANDLE IT
I would not recommend this game for rn do to it having horrible frame rate and overall not much to do, it basically just a walking simulator. But I do see a lot of potential for this backrooms game.
So there's a great deal wrong here. I encountered multiple bugs out of the gate, first of which was defining controls. The control visuals on the screen changed when I set the buttons, but when I went back into the interface to swap a button the visuals didn't reflect those changes. I ended up setting them 3 times thinking it wasn't doing anything. Flashlight, interact, and crouch don't have default buttons. Second bug was the player names not displaying in the lobby. Mouse sensitivity isn't low enough, even for 800 dpi. I have my Nvidia "Low Latency Mode" set to ultra, which can often impact cameras, and in this case it made the game nearly unplayable on "50". Lower required. AI tracking is either find you anywhere, despawn after giving up, or simply lose track of you for almost no reason and wander away. They often spawn behind you and trap you places for almost no reason. Climbing into a locker broke my run. It also seems to happen randomly when crouching, but it can also repair run, so I don't really know what is happening there. This needs a lot of work and some literal days devoted to QA with multiple people before I'll consider devoting time to it.
So the game seems like the developer would actually have a vision what he wants to do but the execution... oh man. in a lot of areas the game runs at 15 FPS which is unacceptable, you really don't know where, when or why you are going to be teleported to the next area. There are different locations to explore and one gameplay element I could find was collecting some pink shining stuff before the monster kills you. But even if you get killed, you are just spawning new with no effects. But the spawning is bugged, so often it won't load or the player is stuck and can't continue. I played with a friend 2 runs and both times we got stuck / bugged in the "birthday" level with the red carpet and balloons. Would not recommend in this state and after 6 months the possibility of improving the game is quite low so...
The level 0 graphics aren't that great, the bacteria isn't scary whatsoever (not to say that short people can't be scary,) the key in level 0 doesn't work on the only locked wooden door, you end up with dozens of vases, only a few of which you need, the list goes on. I am so far not impressed but will update after playing some more - if I do.
