Back to the Future: Ep 2 - Get Tannen! is the second of 5 short but enjoyable point and click adventure games from Telltale, with similar gameplay to the Sam & Max series of games, and of course it's very faithfully based on the classic movie trilogy from Robert Zemeckis. From what I can tell, the gameplay takes place somewhere between the first and second films in the trilogy. But then, probably not a huge spoiler, at some point Marty mentions to Doc Brown that he has kids to look after, which means it happens after the third film... except the DeLorean is destroyed at the end of that film, but it features in this game. Huh. Anyway, the plot for the game is difficult to discuss without spoiling the first episode, suffice it to say you need to travel back in time to the 1930's (again) because the events of Episode 1 corrupted the time line and you need to set things straight. The story is pretty good, but not a huge leap over Ep1, just more of the (rather well made) same story. Some of the puzzles can be difficult, but there's a hint system that will get you unstuck fairly quickly. There's save games, but it's impossible to make a mistake or "lose", so you'll eventually get through the puzzle. The game is very old at this stage, over 13 years, but it holds up remarkably well, with decent enough models and assets, and with 4K support the game looks fine (apart from a few muddy textures), and the soundtrack of course is straight from the films. There's also a voice pack you can get from the internet (check some of the community guides here on Steam) that puts in Tom Wilson and Christopher Lloyds talents as voice actors reprising their cinematic roles. Overall this is a great game in terms of both design and technical execution (it's held up very well for a game that's a decade old). The only real downside with this is that the game has been pulled from Steam, so it could be challenging to get a key. If you can, and you're a fan of this genre of games and you're a fan of Back to the Future, grab it!

The game lacks achievements despite having them on console. The story quality still hovers around the first one but some new camera ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and many more bugs were added. Again, you can't purchase it anymore but I'm starting to think maybe watching someone play it would be a better waste of my time instead of repeatedly trying to interact with everything. Plus it seems, a bit shorter. Idk. Not feeling this one.
Back to the Future: Ep 2 - Get Tannen! (2011) The second episode and now the game is really starting to build up steam and get the plot going. As you can imagine the more you mess with the timeline the more problems you cause. You meet some great characters during the Prohibition era of Hill Valley. The puzzles are more or less the same compared to episode one, but its all good and fun. 9/10
A solid hour-long adventure game, without much depth, in the spirit of the movies.

"I Don't Care" особенно понравилась.
