BACK TO THE EGG! Tower Defense

the video looks promising however the gameplay is really lacking. For starters there is only a single map and it is very small. you can power up the tower with a crystal as the only means of progression eventually you do face a stronger enemy after about 10-15 waves. this game just kill 10-20 orcs and wait 5 seconds for another wave of enemies. you cant place any sort of tower defense strategy to it. if you play as the warrior you literally just whirlwinds to win until you face a tough orc which you just press ground slam to win.

[Allgemeines] Bei Back to the egg handelt es sich um einen Hybriden aus Action RPG und Tower Defense. Man spielt einen Helden (Momentan in V 2.7.0 nur ein Bogenschütze verfügbar) mit dem man verschiedene Portale und einen sogenannten Nexus zerstören muss. Dabei steht einem der Bogen und das bauen evrschiedener Türme zur verfügung. Momentan bietet das SPiel noch nicht sehr viel aber es wird stätig weiterentwickelt durch die aktiven Devs welche auch auf die Community hören. Nach einem Gespräch mit einem der Devs erfuhr ich einiges über die Zukunftspläne und freue mich schon auf einige der geplanten Dinge. Das SPiel macht jetzt bereits viel Spaß aber benötigt noch einiges an Content,jedoch im momentanen ablauf mit Updates, patches und Gesprächen kann ich nur sagen unterstützt die Entwickler im EA und es kann ein wirklich sehr gutes SPiel werden.

This game looks like it has some good potential from the screen shots, videos and even the reviews.. but the reality is this game released in 2017 and is likely all but abandoned.. The game has 2 maps, 9 stages, 2 towers and 1 character to choose from.. It has about 4 total enemy models... running orc.. Flying orc, mini boss orc, and big boss... That's pretty much the content you get for 9.99.. and will ever get... The videos can be called a downright lie as you see the Orcs attacking the player and the towers, bu the reality is the Orcs run mindlessly toward your egg.. you can be standing there and they ignore you and still run to the egg. The game looks like a decent start to a fully flushed out game, but ultimately it must have been abandoned, because the content or lack there of, doesn't justify the price tag.. You'd be better off buying other games with equal or more content which are cheaper.. Far more tower defense games are there that have half the price tag and triple the content. Buying one of them would serve you far better.. Pro's Decent Alpha (in a finished game form) ??? Con's Price tag Content gameplay Grindy achievement,, kill 10000 orcs when the game is devoid of content, it's unfun. AI. Lack of Exit button in the game.. you literally have to window tab out of the game to close it Recommendation I wouldn't recommend this game, even at .99 cent,t he lack of content, misleading screenshots and videos should make people very suspect.. The game has about 30 minutes of EASY content.. it's so easy you'll never fail, unless you build the first tower in the wrong spot.. It had some potential but with it being abandoned I'm going to say, save your money for anything else..

Game works fine. Worked with the developer and we found a typo. Game is fun. Please see the video and how much fun I had!! Nice work from just two guys! Good use of Unity engine. Nice graphics, sound effects, fun gameplay. Oh and more features coming soon!!

It's a wave based tower defence game where you face off against ever increasing waves of enemys. I found this game to be lacking online multiplayer (I assume due to not having to host multiplayer servers and saving money?) The gameplay is simple. fun, but dose get repettitive. You will be giving pro's and con's each level. so say you maybe will run 30% faster but you will be on 50% health this round for example. maybe it should be a risk system.. so you wont always get bonned over each round? the graphics are cartoon like but very sharp and good textures and on my system at least it ran very smooth. I very much like the music selection as it gives a great ambience. so long review short pro's -music -graphics -optimisation con's -price -gameplay (or lack of) Good time passer but too expensive for what is on offer IMO 6.5/10 *good*

I think it would be more fun playing the multi-player with friends. The graphics are cartoon like but look great. I did run into a bit of lag while playing not sure why. Its a good way to kill time but at $8.49- on sale $9.99 normal price I think its over price. I would put this game at $4.99 the way it sets now. I still would recommend buying this game as I think the Dev has got a good thing here and with the right touch it could be a great game.

Back to the Egg is already in it's early stage a great timekiller and keeps you motivated. Nice graphics and solid engine do thier job so bugs are very rare. Love the fact, that it has got the good ol' Splitscreen (if you have a Gamepad) and i can't wait for the content jet to come...

[h1] Genre [/h1] Eine Prototyp Mischung aus einem Tower Defense & einem Action RPG [h1] Gameplay [/h1] Das Spiel scheint einfach aus dem Early Access Zustand raus genommen worden zu sein und wurde dann nie wieder angefasst. Erstmal kommt man in ein total simples Menü und die Musik ist automatisch ausgestellt (nichts das die Musik irgendwas besonderes wäre). Dann nimmt man den Helden (es gibt nur einen Bogenschützen) und startet Level 1. Es ist total simpel gehalten. Vor uns ist ein Ei das wir beschützen müssen. Dies tun wir indem wir Feindlich Orks ausschalten. Wir können mit der Linken Maustaste lediglich normal feuern, Skills gibt es nicht. Auf Plattformen können wir dann für Gold Geschütztürme bauen, die uns dabei helfen die lästigen Orks abzuwehren. Gold verdienen wir indem wir Orks töten. Es gibt insgesamt 2 verschiedene Türme. Ein Normaler Turm mit moderatem Schaden und ein Turm der mehrere Gegner gleichzeitig beschiessen kann. Mit der "E" Taste können wir dann für jeweils 100 Gold die Türme upgraden um sie stärker zu machen. Es gibt auch nur 5 Gegner Arten. Normale Orks, Magier, Fliegende Orks, Einen Oger & einen Riesen Ork. Diese greifen uns nicht an sondern laufen einfach nur zum Ei und versuchen dieses kaputt zu hauen. Es gibt insgesamt 9 Level wobei es an sich eigentlich nur 3 sind weil sie einfach recycelt werden [h1] Achievements [/h1] Es gibt insgesamt 5 Erfolge. Hierfür muss man 3 Wellen schaffen, 25 Türme insgesamt bauen, 100 Orks töten, 1000 Orks Töten & 10000 Orks töten. Letzteres ist absolut unnötig und man hätte darauf verzichten können bei dem geringen & eintönigen Content [h1] Pro/Contra [/h1] + Achievements - Eintönig - Viel zu Teuer - Wurde scheinbar einfach aus dem Early Access raus genommen und als Vollständiges Spiel verkauft [h1] Fazit [/h1] Ein billiges, eintöniges Tower Defenes/ActionRPG Hybrid was man noch hätte weiter Entwickeln müssen. In diesem Zustand ist es einfach nur Sinnlos zu spielen geschweige denn zu kaufen und das mit den 10000 Orks killen Achievement ist einfach nur schwachsinnig & unnötig. Der Preis ist zudem auch noch unverschämt hoch. 12월 23일 기준 orc must die류의 열화판 액션디펜스 게임... 문제는 내 컴 사양이 그렇게 낮은게 아닌데도 그래픽 최저 수준에 맞춰도 너무 끊긴다. 얼리억세스라 평가를 확정할 수 없지만 개선되기 전까지는 오크 머스트 다이쪽을 추천(게임성도 이쪽이 현재는 훨씬 낫다.)하고 이건 안 건드리는게 나은듯.
