In the middle of each nation's normal training routine, a Joint Military Exercise was enacted. A select few from each nation were chosen to participate in this rigorous event. But, how did this event come to be? Are there other ulterior motives at play?

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 22: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Azur Lane Crosswave successfully brings one of mobile gaming's most recognizable naval franchises into a standalone 3D action RPG, offering an experience that emphasizes character-driven storytelling, stylish combat, and faithful fan service. Developed by IDEA FACTORY, COMPILE HEART, and FELISTELLA, and published by Idea Factory International, the game takes a different direction from the original mobile title by replacing side-scrolling battles with fully three-dimensional naval engagements. Rather than simply recreating the mobile experience, it expands the universe into a console-style adventure that allows players to spend more time with its colorful cast while exploring a fresh storyline centered around military exercises and unexpected threats. The narrative revolves around the four dominant naval factions—Eagle Union, Royal Navy, Sakura Empire, and Iron Blood—as they participate in a large-scale Joint Military Exercise intended to strengthen cooperation between nations. However, as the operation unfolds, mysterious incidents begin to surface, gradually transforming what seemed like a routine event into a larger conspiracy. The game places considerable focus on conversations, friendships, rivalries, and humorous interactions, making the story feel like an interactive anime series. While longtime fans will recognize many returning faces and appreciate the references to established lore, newcomers can still enjoy the overall plot thanks to its self-contained structure and clear character introductions. Combat is presented through fast-paced third-person naval battles where players directly control a shipgirl across expansive ocean arenas. Every character possesses distinct weapons, skills, and special attacks, allowing players to experiment with different combat styles while coordinating with AI-controlled allies. Battles involve dodging incoming fire, launching torpedoes, unleashing barrages, and carefully managing cooldowns to maximize damage. RPG progression further enhances the experience by allowing characters to gain levels, improve equipment, and unlock stronger capabilities over time. Although the controls remain accessible enough for newcomers, there is still enough variety in fleet composition and character customization to encourage experimentation throughout the campaign. Visually, Azur Lane Crosswave excels at capturing the charm of its source material. The cel-shaded presentation closely resembles anime artwork while giving every character expressive animations and highly detailed designs. Ocean environments, colorful weapon effects, explosions, and cinematic special attacks contribute to battles that are consistently attractive despite relatively simple stage layouts. Character models are exceptionally faithful to their original illustrations, helping the game maintain the visual identity that made the franchise so popular. Complementing the presentation is a lively soundtrack and a strong Japanese voice cast that brings personality to every conversation and battle sequence. Outside of combat, players spend a significant amount of time interacting with the game's large roster through story events and optional dialogue sequences. These moments help flesh out individual personalities while strengthening relationships between the various factions. The game includes dozens of playable characters alongside numerous support units, giving collectors plenty of opportunities to assemble favorite teams and experiment with different combinations. Additional unlockables, side content, equipment management, and replayable missions provide worthwhile incentives for players who enjoy completing every objective or maximizing each character's potential. Despite its many strengths, the game is not without weaknesses. Combat, while visually exciting and enjoyable at first, eventually settles into a repetitive rhythm because mission objectives rarely evolve beyond defeating enemies and bosses. The enemy variety is somewhat limited, and experienced action game players may find the mechanics lacking the complexity of more advanced shooters or action RPGs. The pacing can also fluctuate due to lengthy dialogue sequences between battles, occasionally slowing the momentum for players who prefer continuous gameplay. Likewise, those unfamiliar with the Azur Lane franchise may not feel the same emotional connection to the extensive cast, making some character-driven moments less impactful. From a technical perspective, the PC version delivers a polished experience with stable performance, responsive controls, and attractive visuals that scale well on modern hardware. While environmental detail occasionally falls behind the impressive quality of the character models, the overall production values remain consistently solid throughout the adventure. The game feels polished and well optimized, successfully translating its anime-inspired aesthetic into an interactive format without sacrificing visual clarity or performance. Azur Lane Crosswave ultimately succeeds by focusing on what fans love most about the franchise: its memorable cast, appealing art style, and entertaining naval combat. It may not redefine the action RPG genre or offer the deepest combat system available, but it provides an enjoyable adventure that balances accessible gameplay with engaging storytelling and extensive character content. Players looking for a faithful adaptation filled with anime charm, collectible characters, and satisfying progression will find plenty to appreciate, while those seeking highly technical action mechanics may view it as a more casual experience. Even so, it stands as one of the stronger adaptations of a mobile game into a full premium release, delivering a package that remains enjoyable from beginning to end. Azur Lane Crosswave is a polished and visually appealing adaptation that successfully expands the beloved mobile franchise into a full-fledged action RPG. Although repetitive mission design and moderate gameplay depth keep it from reaching its full potential, its engaging cast, polished presentation, rewarding progression, and faithful recreation of the Azur Lane universe make it an enjoyable experience for fans and an approachable entry point for newcomers alike.
