Not bad, certainly has more custom franchise options than Madden, which I refuse to buy. I really like making a custom league in this game compared to Madden. Haven't tried the create a player yet, that's next to put myself in the game. I've only played two full games with 10 minute quarters so far and won both by a score. Was down 14-3 in the first game, which had a ton of turnovers, but ended up winning 24-17. The second game had only one turnover and we managed a 16-13 victory by holding the other team from scoring twice at the end of the game, turnover on downs. Good game play but the stats won't look right, I may try at 15 minute quarters and see if we can get over 300 yards a game. Happy to support a developer making any competition to Madden.
I love this series, but I have to say this game doesn't improve upon 2023 very much at all. Regardless, it's still probably the best football game on the market at the moment with great team customization features, maybe the best franchise mode of any current football game because of its solid simulation mechanics and very fun gameplay overall. The community always releases patches to add NFL or college teams for people who specifically want to play with them, too. I'll be sad that there won't be a 2025, but skipping a year to focus on the development of 2026 was a very wise decision and I can't wait to play it
Timeouts don't always stop the clock. The announcer's descriptions of on-field events are accurate about 60% of the time. If you fumble on a pass play, the offensive line sometimes refuses to acknowledge there's a fumble, making it super easy for the other team to pick it up and get an immediate touchdown. The positions are extremely broad, such as your second RB being the FB, instead of FB being its own category. There's no training camp mini games. You can't manually jump to deflect or intercept, or do a diving tackle. There is no hit stick or truck stick. There is no salary cap. There are many random glitches, such as sliding down but the play doesn't stop so everyone will pile around you and you can slowly walk in for a touchdown. However, this game is infinitely better than any crap that EA pumps out, because THERE ARE NO MICROTRANSACTIONS. You buy the game and play it.
Worst football game I have ever played. The actual gameplay is terrible. Receivers cant catch, QB cant throw what a waste of money.
Madden 2002 has better AI than this, my AI controlled defenders always only have one goal. I really wish this game was good.
This is a terrible game. The AI is designed to make you lose and for your opponents to win. They will be the luckiest team in the world and you will receive no such good fortune. Your own team will often actively work against you. This game is terrible just get madden
BETTER QUICKER THAN MADDEN AND SMALLER ON HD
the ai is bad , it tries to hard to keep the game close even if your a way better team, there is alot to like, but the over all play is poor. i really wanted to like this game, but its just bad.
Love this game! Have it on 4 different platforms! It is a great alternative to Madden that won't burn a hole in your wallet.
This is pretty cool, has some issues really, but it's ok, has a lot of things thay u can customize, but a lot of things to work on it too. It feels like you're playing and old Mdn game, like the 2008, wich is pretty nice game.
