Please Read through this guide guys and ladies and Devs... There is a lot i want to say so please bare with me. This game is really amazing at its core and i don't want to see this game fail, there is a lot of things that could be improved before official release, please devs read through this... Firstly i think the drone should have more impact on the ball, i feel like it could make for more insane plays. Secondly we need more maps and gamemodes asap, a roof to the arena is also needed cause the ball flies up very high. i really enjoyed playing so far and feel like the game could be on par with rocket league. The UI needs some work cause it looks blan and needs more color. Also i think that we need some customization and variety, a shop perhaps... The range of the high powered shot also needs some extra range cause it doesn't hit certain shots. A ingame chat would also be nice and also goal replays. You guys just need to be creative and have fun with this game it can be so much more...A ranked system would also be cool. And lastly i think the ball mechanics need some work. PS - Sorry about any spelling errors english is my second language Thanks for reading through that i hope to see some improvements Sincerely - Goodjuices

This arena football shooter had a lot of potential but never had the polish that similar games did- well, one similar game, Rocket League. It’s easy to compare the games, but here you get a big cannon, and that makes Axiom its whole own experience. When you first start getting the hang of the mechanics you realise that there’s a lot of room to play your own way in Axiom. There’s your main gun but also four secondaries, all useful in different situations. You can also move vertically drone-style and boost. The four secondaries are Machine Gun- rapid fire weak shots, useful for dribbling or slightly altering ball trajectory, only uses about 0.5 of 100 ammo per shot Shotgun- a powerful short-range blast. The AI likes to use it as clearance on defence, but it can create a great spin for shots too. It uses 20 ammo per shot, so only 5 shots per reload. Grenade Launcher- slow projectile that explodes on contact with ground or walls, powerful blast similar to the shotgun, but at range, also uses 20 ammo per shot Deactivator- neutralises the ball’s momentum, very useful for lining up shots or tricking your opponent, uses 5 ammo per shot If you’ve got any sense this sounds like a worthy rival to Rocket League so far, and I’m not about to tell you it’s a mess when you look behind the ballistics. It’s good. There are issues, though. The camera doesn’t look high enough to see the ball at the top of the arena, easily fixable with a ball-cam toggle. There’s no tutorial, although there is a mode that was clearly meant to be one called ‘Axiom Academy’. Beyond those two, there are parts that feel a little off to me but aren’t necessarily issues for everyone. The map feels a bit busy, with flares dropping on the field becoming a major distraction, especially the white ones. At times the pacing of gameplay feels a little off, likely improved at a higher skill level or with more players. Unfortunately, more players isn’t likely to happen because the online servers have been shut off. I can understand why the developer stopped supporting Axiom; these games need a momentum at launch to sustain any consistent player base going forward. It is a massive shame, though, because the gameplay's so much fun, and I would have loved to have seen how it takes off (vertically). Overall, Axiom Soccer is a very enjoyable game, with enough unique flair to feel like its own thing. I feel it could have been a worthy rival to, or in the place of, Rocket League. If only it had released concurrently or before it.

Goofy ahh game rocket league ripoff but if you want a f2p rocket league game on steam then this game works. , kinda instead of driving cars you drive robots drones and you need to score on a AI goalkeeper witch you can't remove pretty wierd game but works instead of rl, recommended. but everybody knows we want rocket league back.
