I wanted to leave a positive review. But, alas. I'm stuck between textures. The game is cute. The optimization is good. I hope it will be finalized.
Oyun nedense acayip kısa sürüyor ve tatmin etmiyor ama grafikleri nedense benim acayip hoşuma gitti.

Игра про фурри по умолчанию не может быть хорошей.
"Avani" is another student project from the Digipen Institute of Technology, and this time the students probably got a "C" mark... they couldn't work out how to do 3D graphics (Digipen probably needs to teach their students that the ATI Rage hit mainstream gaming back in the 1990s). Instead we get a 2D/Isometric brawler where you control a cat and bash stuff up. Ok, whatever. The game works? But lacks a lot of basic amenities and customisations that most PC gamers expect as standard. This has some really mediocre looking graphics that will understandably be a turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarly visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. You deserve better than compromises. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 15 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? This is a "maybe" experience... if you have a lot of free time on your hands and nothing else to do, why not? But for the purposes of a review, this isn't something I can say everyone must try. It's not quite there. Valve doesn't give us a "maybe" option in reviews, but if they did, that's what I'd choose for this.
cute game but just too many issues, shout out to digipen for great art direction though!! i would recommend checking it out but just now a lot of gameplay is wonky, e.g. when running you can teleport into lava and ice and it's really difficult to figure out a spot to get back on land, breaks the game.
Игра красивая и реиграбельная
not for me, not even for free
That was a nice little game. And a big respect for the nice animations and that you wrote everything from scratch in C++. Only some of the sounds are a bit strange. Good work!
