Dungeon Chamber

"Dungeon Chamber" is most certainly best described as "hot garbage". Yeah, it's a 3D rendered 2D top down brawler with what are almost certainly flipped assets and an entire class for this locked behind a paywall... disgusting really. What do you do in the game? Well, not much, it's very shallow, a tech demo or a bare minimum viable product. Do some brawling in a garbage low poly flipped looking dungeon, and pay real money to unlock classes. Did the developer not know you can buy Diablo 4 on Steam? In terms of visuals, this features fairly low quality low poly 3D visuals which will deter a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and while some developers struggle with creating high quality visuals, failing to do so is a disservice to gamers. It's very difficult to recommend bad looking games. On pricing and value for gamers, this isn't really free as you're expected to pay up $2 USD to unlock the rogue class (and if anyone was dumb enough to actually do that, the "developer" behind this wreck would certainly have added more), the game should not be considered completely unlocked until you empty your wallet for the developer. This is some nasty, predatory pricing and PC gamers don't like it. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 5 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.
