Really fun roguelike that focuses on creating more strategies through the positioning of your crew! Definitely recommended.
Disclaimer: i got the key for free from developer when we were discussing on gamedev forum it is great little game. Lots of fun to be had. i first won the game at 6.5 hour mark and that's when you only finish learning the whole concept so you can then continue playing with full knowledge. Game is made with replayability in mind, the map is procedurally generated so on each run you also have to plan which path to take. You will probably lose first few runs since you will be learning what each thing means on map and how battles work. But once you do, its very satisfying winning the battles and planning. There is more content/depth to the strategy than i initially expected from the trailer and images, there are also unlocks after you gain certain amounts of xp. There are some occasional units or unit powers descriptions that might be confusing at first (at least they were to me) but after few runs i got used to them and those were extremely rare anyway. I enjoyed my time playing it, so i recommend it. It does what it says in description.
I enjoyed my time with the game. Took a break and came back. Qol changes and nice to see frequent updates from the dev.
Took a little bit to learn the intricacies of the combat, but once I got it down it's a very simple and fun play. Love the addition of achievements. Is a great game to unwind and play.
I've been having a ton of fun playing this game. Its simple and easy to get into but as you play more it unlocks addition emojis that you get to use in battle allowing you to use more complex strategies as you get more experienced in the game. I like that it is the kind of game that if me wife needs me to help her with something or I have to tell her something or any kind or interruption I can deal with it can come back a get right back where I left off.
I don't usually leave game reviews but this game currently isn't scored which feels unfair. It's a good unique game, and at a fairly cheap price (I got it for about £1.50 on offer). It's fun experimenting with different builds and makes good use of the 9 tile setup. I'm glad I purchased it and am confident the vast majority of people will know whether or not they want the game within the two hour refund window.
