Fantastisch, immer noch eines der besten Rennspiele. Gerade in VR unschlagbar.
TONS OF REAL TRACKS, CXARS OF DIFFERENT TYPE. PHYSICS ARE SOLID. FFB ON A DECENT AND UPPER TIER WHEELS IS AMAZING. THERE IS ALOT OF CONTENT IN THIS GAME. IT IS AMAZING.
The most plug-and-play sim on the market, and when it works it's a good time. The handling and feel are fun. Not the last word in realism, but I couldn't give a ♥♥♥♥, I want to get in and race and AMS2 lets you do that with zero setup faff. Shame about everything holding it back. The AI is crap, slow in and out of corners, and they only remember they're racing the second you pass them. No defending, no wheel to wheel, they just evaporate. Cranking the aggression slider helps a little but out of the box they're lifeless. The real problem is the driving model. The rear stepping out is fine and easy to catch, that's not the issue. The issue is the grip cliff. The car's planted lap after lap and then with no warning all four wheels let go like you've hit an oil slick and there's nothing you can do to save it. You don't feel it building, it just goes. And once it lets go the sliding cooks the tyres, so one mistake turns into a whole greasy lap. Brake feel is the same, floaty and vague right when you want the front to bite. AC and rF2 give you that progressive feel at the limit where you can react to it. AMS2 gives you a light switch. Reiza are rewriting the tyre model class by class to fix this and the revised cars are better, but a lot of the roster is still mid-overhaul, and the game is buggy as hell on top of it. I want to like it for the get in and race simplicity, but the handling model and the AI just aren't all they're cracked up to be.
One of the best simracing titles ever.
Let’s be real: playing this on a PS5 controller is a massive challenge. It’s tough and far from a good experience, but the game itself is so compelling that I couldn't stop playing. The struggle was completely worth it just to practice in such a massive variety of cars, especially the raw, unpredictable machinery from the past. Having multiple historic versions of the same circuit is an incredible feature, and the offline AI is surprisingly nice to race against for single player. The fact that an official career mode is incoming is also a huge plus. That's the ultimate praise I can give this game: the content is so immersive that, despite fighting a controller the whole time, it finally pushed me over the edge. I started out wrestling with a gamepad on the couch, and now it has convinced me to build my very first dedicated physical sim rig. Highly recommended.
I have never seen a sim racing game with so many compatibility issues in my entire life.

Great fun, you get a lot for your money, and it's perfect for those who want to drive, race, time-trial (one player) without obsessing about the tiny details. They are there in the game if you want them, but unlike some other games, you can just dive in and have an hour or two's fun without treating it as a full time job. I've not played against other people online, so I can't say whether this is good or bad or how it compares to anything else on that score, but as a proper sim (as opposed to arcade) that's easy to jump right in and have fun, it's great.
A huge fan of auto and Formula One motorsports, I always watched videos on YouTube about Automobilista 2, but at the time, playing it wasn't possible since I was using a console. Now I have my rig, and every time I want to play auto motorsports, that's the game I start. Thank you Reiza.
Lots of Fun. Runs very well and looks great. Has a great amount of track and cars - especially the historic stuff which I love. Game has come a long way and is getting better and better. All we need now is an offline career mode!
