Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Aug 25 → 0.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
I'm gonna be honest this is exactly the type of wooden video game I'd think would be right up my alley but the writing is so atrocious I just can't push myself through it.
Atom RPG is one of the best post-apocalyptic CRPGs out there. The Soviet setting is a breath of fresh air - and let’s be honest, it’s the game’s major selling point. Which is fine by me. I’m a sucker for alternate history and it’s always nice to see post-apocalyptic games made outside the USA. The writing is good. I appreciated the humour. The memes are a tad too much. I loved the occasional sarcasm though. I actually liked most dialogues. There are a lot of NPCs but they never felt boring or repetitive. The English translation is okay. If there’s one thing I didn’t like, it’s the combat. It’s pretty grindy and difficult. It’s not a balanced game in terms of combat. I’m not a huge fan of the STR / DEX requirements for weapons. The leveling feels pretty slow, although I did fall for the "Child Prodigy" distinction so I can't exactly blame the devs for that (new players beware!). The companions have their own AI which can be a pain in the a**: - they get stuck and don’t help with the fight - they blow themselves up with a grenade - they use up your last super-stimulant - they attack the enemy w/ full health instead of the one near death It would be great if we had the option to control the companions manually. I’m a bit conflicted about the survival mechanics. I think radiation + poisoning makes sense. They add a real challenge to certain areas. But hunger - the way it’s implemented - is a big waste of time. If it was up to me, I would remove hunger from the game entirely. You need to eat to heal anyway, so what’s the point? I carried a bunch of raw meat in my inventory throughout the game. The game offers a variety of foodstuffs, but there’s little to no reason to eat anything but roasted meat. Why is corned meat so much worse than roasted meat? I would’ve appreciated some QoL features to save time. For example: - open the caravan / scavenger barter screen without loading the map - better storage management!! move all items with one action - option to skip animations during combat, like Civ 6 - why can’t I reorder items inside a storage? I want to store my D. Popov books in order The game is pretty janky at times. It’s understandable, it was made by a small indie studio. It’s “Eurojank” if you will. It’s not a perfect game but it doesn’t matter. It’s charming & it’s enjoyable. If you like post-apocalyptic CRPGs, you will like Atom RPG. I spent ~105 hours on my 1st playthrough, this includes almost every side quest - and I enjoyed every minute of it.

Basically Lenin got his hands on Fallout: Van Buren, before Bethesda and Todd Howard got their gross knobby fingers on it and give the soviet cheeki breeki makeover.

From what I've heard this is a nice game, unfortuantly I wasen't able to do anything in the game due to the lack of any sort of weeapons, quests, money, items or being able to do any skill checks at any point in the early game. I tried with 3 different charaters (gun focused, unarmed focused and speech focused) and none of them could get past the first area. I imagine it's possible to get passed this first area but the game didn't tell me how so I cannot reccomend it unless you can really push through an obtuse early game or don't mind using specific builds/guides to get to actually play the game you bought.
ATOM RPG is a real soviet diamond in the rough, the game while can be really funny at times will also suck you into a dark gloomy world devoid of hope. it tells a tale of surviving in a harsh devastated world that is trying to rebuild from the trial by nuclear apocalypse. and you will see that best by just exploring the soviet wasteland, talking to the many characters you will meet along the way. and doing the many meaningful quests that will the change the world around you and the story. ultimately leaving it up to you to determine the fate of the region comrade.
Good aesthetic. Interesting characters and setting, not masterpiece level, but it's very good if you like post-nuclear wastelands. If you're new to this kind of game (like Fallout 1 and 2) it can be a little esoteric how you're supposed to navigate combat and allocate your skill points, or even if there is a clear route of progression. Sometimes I felt like I went earlier into situations which I wasn't prepared for at all, and probably also because how of the game is structured (Roaring Forest). I haven't played Trudograd. This is one of the better crpg games I've played. Although, I feel like either the progression system could have been better. I did have the feeling like no matter how far I got or how much I leveled, it was often one-shotted in combat and had difficulty progressing forward organically.
