Astoria: Fate's Kiss

I only just found this (very late I know) after mourning the loss of Lovestruck for years, and I'm THRILLED! I can finally access the previously locked choices and romance my old favourites (Medusa my beloved). The only downside is that it seems like Astraeus' route isn't in this version 😭 Maybe someday they'll give us a DLC of his route, but there's a lot of content to enjoy until then. Fingers crossed they bring back Havenfall Is For Lovers and Reigning Passions this way, those two are my favourites!

I used to be a huge fan back when this was just a phone app, and then it converged with other stories into the Lovestruck app. I missed this story in particular more than almost any of the others when the app got taken down. I'm extremely happy to see AFK available to play again!

I've been missing Lovestruck dearly so having a bit of the game back makes me so happy. Cyprin is one of my favourites too!

I was so excited to see Astoria back since I was so heartbroken by Lovestruck shutting down as Alex is my absolute favorite! I would absolutely pay for other storylines if they came out too!! Especially Love and Legends and Gangsters in Love!!!

I really loved this when it was an App Game so I was excited to see it return for PC. The port works well imo, The stories are great, the graphics look very well and as an added bonus I now don't have to pay extra for the special choices, which adds a lot to the replay value for me. In short, I still very much enjoy Lovestruck in it's new incarnation and hope the other sotrylines will likewise be back before too long.

I remember when this first came out, I was OBSESSED! I loved when they added Alex Cyprin who became my favorite. I have CONSTANTLY thought about this game since its mobile out was bought and then the app was discontinued. I was so sad this story would be lost forever. I looked constantly for this game and never found it. Till recently I got inspired to look like I did every year for it and I FINALLY found it on steam! Just released this year! The STORIES are AMAZING. The characters steal your heart and you can't help but love it. I'm so glad it was finally put on steam! I still wish there were voice actors for the characters, but its amazing with so much content. So much content! Its a must have for people who love these type of games~! Also please add the DLCS! I want to re-live them!

I used to be addicted to Lovestruck when I was a teenager, and I was extremely upset when the service shut down during the pandemic. I actually found out pretty late that Astoria had been released as a standalone here on Steam, and I had to rush to buy it! To be honest, it wasn’t my favorite story back then, even though it was the first one I ever played. But giving it another chance now, I can see how much my younger self was missing out—the characters are amazing (Medusa my beloved), the writing is wonderful, and the feeling of nostalgia is just perfect. I really hope more stories will come in the future—I’m rooting SO much for Love and Legends, Starship Promise, and Havenfall is For Lovers to make a comeback!

Typically for my experience with Voltage otome I opt for a neutral review but I guess this time despite all usual annoyance it's a thumb up anyway. Some crucial things were presented much better, so I believe it's overall of a more decent quality than their average visual novel. [u] Complaints: [/u] --My greatest complaint is weird visuals :( They spoiled all the fun T_T Usually in visual novels one of the most exciting features is revealing CGs, when they suddenly appear it's always something so pretty I like to marvel at & save for my screenshot collection but in this case (｀□′)╯┴┴ they are HUGE O_O Why?! Part of the gameplay was just looking at enormous heads occupying all the screen O_o Why were the sprites presented in such a ridiculous way?! :( Why are the gorgeous CGs are so gigantic I'd have to make THREE screenshots to save all the image?! So every time I finished the route, I opened the gallery and was ready to cry feeling frustrated that I can't save and commit to my memory any of those pretty images. It seemed to me there were less of them than in some other Voltage games but still for this price I expect a more thoroughly edited text :( --Again it was annoying to see the lack of meaningful choices :( The story proceeds the way it's supposed to be no matter what decision you've made :( MC will just think smth like 'I can't say that', 'I can't do that yet', it feels like reading a linear story :( Utterly frustrating. You won't lose anything if you don't check other choices. --MC was insufferable again. For me that's the example of truly weak writing when the story can progress only because of all those mistakes & dumb decisions mc makes :( To cope with that annoying nonsense an idea even occurred to me that such stupid chars (esp after you've given them your name T_T) may be enjoyable if we imagine what an awesome feeling it must be – to make frequent mistakes, be often wrong BUT still be loved O_O [u] Praises [/u]: +As always I appreciate that it's truly a long read. But before MC was always just lying & receiving her love interest's affection, letting them love her. Boooorriiiing :( Finally here it's a totally different story \o/ I'm grateful for this change. It felt good to see an active, mature main character. +It feels good & really relaxing to play smth positive from time to time, even if it's silly type of positive :D There're only two kinds of endings: Thrilling & Passionate! I don't care if there's a few mistakes in the texts....ALEX CYPRIN! YOU'VE COME BACK TO ME! As a 2017 Lovestruck player who saw the beginning and the end I'M JUST HAPPY TO SEE THE LOVES OF MY LIFE BACK AGAIN. I'm playing this again and I'm full on sobbing because I genuinely thought I'd never see them again, or be able to experience going through their routes again. It's been so long and seeing them back I JUST CAN'T. I don't think I can describe just how big of a hyperfixation lovestruck was to me back then, and FINALLY being able to play one of their most OG stories which contain some of my FAVORITE CHARACTERS OF ALL TIME, NOTHING CAN MAKE A GIRL HAPPIER!

I love the story of this game, I remember when I read it on phone Edit: Okay so I wanna elaborate further after playing it a bit more. I am a bit sad that some stories that was from lovestruck app is not in this version of Astoria but I get it since that part wasnt astoria fate's kiss but it still included what happened between season 1 and 2. Also the short stories of what to expect when Heroin was pregnant with the characters. I hope to see more of the lovestruck stories because I absolutely loved them and I can't stop playing this story game. But I just hope for the price of this game that they consider putting in What to expect and the story between season 1 and 2
