Its fun
Wish I could give it a neutral rating instead.
Muito gostosinho de jogar no steam deck, nostalgia pura.
It's fun, but I already beat all the challenges. Whats left?
Great reimagining of the classic arcade game, nice visuals, awesome challenge, and an absolute BANGER SOUNDTRACK!!! Unfortunately only one singular glitch is starting to ruin the whole experience and it's the buggy menu. As of writing this review, DO NOT PAUSE THE GAME, EVER!!! You will be stuck for all eternity, you cannot ever get out, and you WILL have to forcibly close the game. Weather you need to configure your sensitivity, need to use the bathroom, or swat the mosquito biting your wrist, pausing the game is a death sentence to your run due to the pause screen being stuck, hitting continue does nothing, hitting cancel does nothing, only closing the game gets you out, which is clearly not intended. I lost countless games because of something that I urge to be patched, it really does ruin everything else because I have to quit and not listen to the music that gets more intense as you progress, the bug denies me the ability to enjoy the game for its challenge they way it's intended to be so i don't get far each time and thus I am less motivated to even bother playing. Otherwise aside from that, I would highly recommend this game!
This has got to be the best revamped classic Atari game I've played so far, even beating out Yar's Recharged, as well as all the other Recharged Atari versions, including Breakout, Centipede, Gravitar, and the rest. So much fun packed into such a small game, I love the Arcade version (which it comes in 3 separate versions) as well as the Challenge Mode, where you have to overcome certain scenarios of getting a certain score, or clear a level for the best time.. I think the sounds could be a little "punchier" when it comes to destroying the asteroids, they're more of a "crumbly cheese" sort of sound to me, and there needs to be more sound alerts for when new enemies (saucers) enter the playing field, but overall: It's a smashing success with all the replayability and fun factor ramped up to 1000.
Great reminder of one of my favourite old classics. Yes I am old enough to have played the original :)
Good game that follows the recharged formula. I think some of the harsh reviews are people that love the classics and will never like a remaster.
Is auf jeden Fall ein echter Klassiker. Macht Spaß.
