I absolutely love this game. I think that it's informative on learning the basics of command strings and the like, but also challenging and fun. This being an early access game, there are a few bugs to work out and some polishing to be done. But I think that with some TLC, this game will come out to be something to enjoy.
Good game. It was easy because i am a beginner programmer and this is what i learned in the beginning so it was a piece of cake. The only thing i dont like is the Camera shake/bop when i am moving, either reduce the boping/shaking or remove it. Secondly, the music when the robot is moving, i personally don't like it. I would recommend this game to anyone who want to have their brain exercised.

"Assignment 42" was a promising looking adventure puzzle game. It had a lot of potential so in this case it's a shame the developers abandoned it. The game has a few different kinds of puzzles and themes which is welcome... you get to control a robot and guide it to rescue people, which means solving various puzzles (colour matching, lightweight Node Red style programming etc)... I even think if they managed to finish this they could have made quite a bit of money off it. The developers abandoned this 2 years and 4 months ago. It will never be completed. This unfinished game is just polluting Steam and making it harder for gamers to find genuinely, completely made games. The graphics in this game are really quite good, which at least makes the game look more appealing. And while it's vital for any game to have impressive visuals (gaming is a visual medium, after all), there's more to a game than just the graphics. To be worth a gamers time, the game must match top tier visuals with top tier gameplay, and that's not happening here. You're forced to sign a highly questionable yet legally unenforceable End User License Agreement... for such a relatively low effort, low quality product, this comes across more as a delusion of grandeur than anything else. This agreement includes questionable requirements that may attempt to revoke consumer law protections that gamers expect to have, which is also highly problematic. Developers must learn they are here to serve gamers, not control them. I had my cat walk over the keyboard while the EULA was displaying, which fixed that problem for me. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at just a dozen or so concurrent players, and now there's basically nobody playing it. Even though it's free. This is a dismal public reception, but it's easy to see why gamers rejected it. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.
Full play through here once it uploads: https://youtu.be/9ILfm48BqIo This game will absolutely work your brain my goodness I'm mentally fatigued after beating it. I don't know if I just sucked too bad to get a score on the leader board or I did something wrong, but I beat the game and had zero score. The last stage made me miserable I only ran into two glitches in the game one where I couldn't leave the tab menu interface and another where my robot would no longer take commands included in the video. Overall though this is sick for a free to play graphics are nice game is challenging, but doable if your brain likes coding things you'll be amazing at this. I was not amazing at this, but I got to the end. So my robot got cool upgrades and for these reasons I recommend this.

Very delicious robot game where you navigate between rooms and use robots to solve problems. For some reason at level three it didn't run for me. But as I try to point out in many of my reviews. I has potato.
