Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 8/day in the week to Sep 10 → 26.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Photo Mode arrives alongside a broad evolution of the driving model across all surfaces.
This is a release about more ways to experience the stages: more cars, more ways to play online, and more ways to make the game your own.
THREE NEW CARS – The 1980 Audi Quattro Gr.4 is the car that redefined rallying with permanent four-wheel drive and a turbocharged five-cylinder. The 1999 Peugeot 206 WRC is the raw early version of a car that would dominate the early 2000s. The 2018 Volkswagen Polo GTI R5 completes the trio: engineered for customer teams, quick without being difficult to drive.
PRIVATE LOBBIES – Full control over your online sessions. Create and manage your own races with the players you choose.
CUSTOM LIVERIES – Multiple custom liveries are now supported. Save your favourites and switch between them from the in-game menu. First step towards broader modding support.

Unplayable after 0.5-0.5.1 due to zero grip
Excellent graphics. Great sounds. Few tracks, few cars. But But most importantly, on the Moza R12, I couldn't get the feedback to allow me to feel the sliding on dirt. It feels 100% like ice, wheel just empty and I have to drive with my eyes, not my hands. I feel the slide better behind the wheel of the GT3-4 on asphalt in AC-EVO from the same developer than here. And there, slide is something I don't want, but rally racing is all about sliding around without grip. There's also a really weird feeling when braking. The car feels like it's braking on rails in a straight line. Perhaps it's a consequence of the general lack of information about the car's traction. Overall, it's just not fun to play at the moment.

This game is not it if you play on controller, feels like you are turning a damn barn, everything you drive on is essentially ice, the controls, the grip, the responsiveness of the cars in dirt rally 2.0 is 10x better
Assetto Corsa Rally Supernova Games Studios, 2025
I have tried and tried and tried to get the gamepad settings in third person view to feel just as comfortable as they feel in Dirt Rally. I had run tests on a mixture of very low steering linearity values, 30 interpolation speed (I timed how long it took for the steering wheel to reach a specific angle while at the same speed between games and 30 was the closest match), and above 100 steering reduction at speed values. The game only started to feel right when I dropped the interpolation speed to 20 and turned everything else up as high as they could go while I was losing my sanity and venting frustration while writing this review. Honestly 20 is a bit too low and of course it being an Unreal Engine game the sliders in the controls menu go up by 10 a tick instead of a reasonable number like 1. I don't even think steering linearity does anything on controller. My car still steers the same at either 0.5 or 2.0. It just goes to show how garbage a game's controls can be if a good base line doesn't exist and demonstrates how it negatively affects your more casual playerbase. I've spent 11 hours trying to nail a nice feeling controller steering setup and I couldn't tell you anything on if the gameplay is good or not. Trying to buy the car I wanted to drive in Dirt Rally 1 ate away at my soul and that only took 5 hours compared to the trough I've had to crawl through for this game. I've seen tons and tons of people play this on a wheel setup, and it looked like such a fun time. I however was on a very thin line between micro zig zagging uncontrollably at under 100kms and not being able to steer over 100kms while trying to get the controls feeling how I wanted them. Maybe I could get the car feeling good for 1s and 2s, but anything faster than that meant I had to go around the corners at 50% - 60% of the speed I wanted to just to get around it. If I turned the steering reduction at speed value up, then the 1s and 2s need the teeniest tiniest amount of movement to get around. I originally thought the game's performance was pretty miserable until I played Bodycam. Now I think it's actually quite nice that I can get an Unreal Engine 5 game to run at 125 frames even if it means taking a significant render resolution drop. Doesn't mean I support using such a performance heavy engine, but it's just the way the future's set to go. If you're brand new to rally games and want to try the genre out, download Colin McRae Rally 3 from MyAbandonware. If you really want to get into a decent rally game that really rewards self improvement and poses much more of a challenge then Colin McRae Rally 3 does, play Dirt Rally 2.0 with all of the DLC. Once Dirt Rally 2.0 starts to click, it gets really really good. Even if I didn't have a miserable time getting the controls set up, I still wouldn't recommend this game to newcomers. Assetto Corsa Rally is much more punishing than Dirt Rally 2.0 is, and doesn't make for a great beginner game. If I'm in the middle positions of the hardest championship in Dirt Rally 2.0, then I'm in the wood championship in this game. Now that I can actually play the game now my thoughts on the game might be different once I get into it, but the arcadey underlying foundations that Dirt Rally 2.0 has is really hard to argue against for newcomers wanting to play a rally game. Maybe the game is phenomenal with a steering wheel, but I don't have one.
This can become one of the best Rally games in history ... Original AC has one of the BEST tyre models in the game ... yet here cars have almost no lateral grip ... seriously my A6 quattro has more grip in the snow than Delta or Scooby in this on gravel! Dirt Rally 2 might be considered simcade by some, but it does 3 things VASTLY better than ACR right now : 1. DirtR2 has WAY better force feedback. I have a Logitech RS50 DD setup, and on DirtR2 I can feel every little detail that's happening with the car. ACR is ok, but I had to turn everything up to 200 and it's still not very communicative. 2. DirtR2 has more realistic grip model imo. Cars dig into surfaces as they should. These cars are tuned to perfection to have as much grip on loose surfaces (and tarmac as well), on ACR it feels like you're driving on wet soap and the car is fighting you in every tighter turn. Real cars have WAY more grip than ACR (maybe not as much as DirtR2, but then again I haven't driven a full-on Rally build so maybe they do). 3. DirtR2 has WAY better sense of speed and adrenaline. ACR feels slow when doing 40, it feels slow when doing 120. In DirtR2 when you're bombing your way down a gravel road doing 120 you feel like you're either going to take off like a plane or turn into a fireball crashing into the nearest tree or ditch. You feel danger, and that's how it should be! I hope ACR addresses those issues. Despite all that I still like the game and I will support it.
Not only is this the worst rally game I have ever played, but the worst racing game. I even own FH6 if that tells you how bad things are. The controls have extremely bad input lag, the car floats around, there are game breaking bugs that can ruin your run any any moment that are completely outside your control, there are hardly any cars, and it's just overall a poorly handling and unfun experience. Maybe it's better with a wheel and pedals, but with my xbox controller there is absolutely no reason to play this.
I just don't think it's even as good as Dirt Rally 2.0. The shiny graphics are fine, they aren't fantastic though. Dirt at 144 fps looks better than this at 80. I think it has to do with art direction. Particle effects and the excessive, soft ambient occlusion especially are really bad looking . The track and terrain looks like something man-made, not like how ground looks like in real life. And the cars... just lack visceral character, they sound meh and feel heavy and disconnected. Even the crowd is as uncanny as Dirt's was. There hasn't been any real innovation in this space in that much time. If you want the shiny coat of paint, try Assetto Corsa. If you value anything else, there are better, complete offerings
