I bought it after doing a fair amount of research, as everyone said this is the best cricket game out there after the legendary "cricket 07", and the "best" from big ant, and in all fairness it is, however...... it isn't without it's flaws, namely, 1. In the career mode your match-performance is insignificant and inconsequential to the skill pints provided after match, you can score a century or have a fifer, but only get the same amount of skill pints even if u sim the entire game or score "ZERO", this really sucker punches the motivation. 2. U just absolutely cannot field off your own bowling, which is disgusting absolutely cant C&B even if the ball is just beside your shoulder. but the A.I. bowler when you're bating can C&B you like the flash himself, you can time it perfectly but it WILL pluck the catch literally an inch above ground one handed within 0.1 seconds i know it's a 7-8 year old game, but it's something very basic in-terms of game-play i feel.... good overall if u can live with these 2 major flaws, that being said, i'm never buying anything from big-ant ever again, the bugs, glitches etc. even after all these time, smh...

It really justifies it's name " ASHES CRICKET" have Excellent game play, realistic camera angles, smooth bowling, modern-day batting shots, dynamic commentary, different practice options, customised tours and many more. It doesn't have any major issues. If asked for areas of improvement in this game then I will suggest followings ; 1. Enhance Pre-bowling setup so that users can place bowl at more desired length on pitch 2. Add more celebrations and expressions to players, umpires, and crowd 3. Alignment of opposition playing AI according to the match situation, format, pitch conditions, match difficulty I want to thank Big ANT Studios and Australian creators for making such wonderful games that feels so passionate and exciting to play. Best Cricket sim game out there, game play is challenging yet not impossible, especially gets fun when you start tweaking game play settings and not a lot of glitches like with the other cricket games.

Best cricket simulation game made by big ant studios. It's realistic and fun to play.
