For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. There are better survivor games out there. This is still half-baked.
Somehow both super enjoyable and unfathambly boring at the same time. I wouldn't recommend this game unless it is on sale.
Been playing a lot of survivors game with over 1000 hrs on the genre and this one stays true the most to the original vampire survivors with additional progression that's just not satisfying enough or different enough to recommend this game. Pros -If you like Vampire Survivor it is pretty much close to it -Crafting system is probably what's unique to this game Cons -Yeah some of the RNG control in this game is outdated as Vampire Survivors. It does not even have a ban item and no wish item system to start with to make runs consistent. -It uses the combine item like Vampire Survivors which in my opinion is very outdated and build constricting. Not to mention that the combined items are utterly useless you'd have a better time just building for one element and scaling that way. -The biggest reason not to recommend this game is there are a LOT of bugs currently present (inventory bug, progression reset, some options not working(projectile transparency/auto aim), and etc) alongside optimization issues. -Controller not fully supported specifically the d-pad making navigation through some UI extremely annoying In its current state I would say it is not currently worth of 1.0 release as this game still needs time to cook its issues. This game needs to take note on how others advanced the genre like Sephiria or Deadly Days. The old Vampire Survivors format was great but just not enough anymore if you have been playing the genre eversince.

Wirklich nett. Mal sehen, was der dritte Held dann so bringt.
So they deleted 13 hours of progress and gave a cosmetic for it... thanks.
Light recommendation, as there are for sure better roguelikes but that doesn't make Asgard's Fall a bad game, just a little lacklustre. Warpaint and the Web of Wyrd are interesting mechanics that are fun to experiment with, as are the weapon combinations, up to a point - there's not enough content to keep me coming back for more. I got 11 hours of enjoyment which is plenty for the price, but wont be rushing back.
Currently there are a handful of bugs (such as slowdowns and non-triggering abilities) that make the core game experience rough, akin to how it was back in EA. Optimization passes and bug reviews need to be finished before I could potentially recommend this game.
