About
The factory floor is cold. The forge burns hot. Nations are going to war, and they need guns.Artillery Tycoon drops you into the cutthroat world of military manufacturing at the dawn of modern warfare. You're not just building weapons—you're engineering the thunder that decides which flags fly and which empires fall.

Design artillery from the ground up. Research authentic breech mechanisms, recoil systems, and firing platforms. Every component matters. Attach the hull. Select your crew—commander, gunners, loaders. Configure your ordinance. Test fire at the range. Miss, and you lose the contract. Hit your marks, and nations will pay fortunes for your firepower.

Transform raw steel into instruments of war. Manage production lines running 24/7. Speed up time and watch your factory churn out the French 75, the British 18-pounder, weapons that will reshape battlefields across continents. Expand your facilities. Unlock new research. Automate production. Save your designs and scale up—from one prototype to an arsenal.

Win contracts from governments desperate for an edge. Outbid rival manufacturers. Deliver on time or watch your reputation crumble. Every nation at war needs artillery. The question is: will they buy yours? There are no second chances when your weapons fail on the battlefield. There are no refunds when shells miss their targets. This is industrial warfare. This is capitalism with a body count.Your factory. Your designs. Your empire. Build it or die trying.

interesting game with great potential. keep up the good work. definitely rough around the edges but in time i can see this being a really awesome and great game. what stands right now is definitely a work in progress but don't dis pare. as the developer stated the game is in an Alpha state. at present of this review. i would like to support them and see where this game goes as it develops. im a fan of games like this and out side of arms trade tycoon tanks. this is so far the only one ive seen delving into the development and arms trade of artillery guns. their was one game i had my eyes on for years for making cannons. but that game hasn't even released an alpha state or any game play out side of pictures. i await to see what the developer and if they have a team cook up with this game and i would recomend supporting their efforts into making this game a reality and dream for what the developer envisions for the future.
i think this can become a real fun game great potential
Grabbed this at 75% discount. Its definitely very early stages and I will set aside for now. Had great frustration with my Gen II British 18 Pounder design not being recognised as complete. That said I think this could be a neat little tycoon game so upvoting. Closest parallel would be Gear City in my mind. Fingers crossed on this game.
There are not too many Artillery specific games on Steam. I got this in Jan 2026 on sale and yes it is in alpha state but I am happy enough with the game. You start out in 1914 prior to the start of WWI in 28 July and you have a factory that can produce French 75, English QF 18 (84 mm) or German 7.7. I ended up spending some time reading up on the WWI guns and the evolution of the Nordenfelt breech, would be good to have some of that built into the game. If the developer can build in more information and history about the artillery pieces, the components that are being desgined I think that would take the game in an interesting direction. The game lets you do a basic test of your designs with some basic graphics, again it would be cool if you could actually submit Fire Orders for the test (i.e. Grid, Altitude, Direction, description, engagement type). There are some things which I think will get fixed in future releases like the slightly strange AI reading and strange English for the tutorial and some small ideosyncroncies like having a ringing electronic phone sound for a 1914 office. I got this for about 7 Australian dollars so feel the game is fair for the price
This is an excellent game. It is very similar to Arms Trade Tycoon Tanks and that is a huge compliment. I'm not sure what the relationship of this studio is to that game but I did notice on one page (Contracts), the word Tanks was used twice for the Artillery piece. I found that a little bit funny. Also, with Arms Trade Tycoon Tanks, I had recommended that this game structure could be used for other military hardware and this Developer has seen to be doing that. I'm sure that this game will get a lot of new content but I wanted to buy it because I knew that I would like it. Keep up the good work, Development Team.
Core gameplay feels solid so far, and there's definitely a lot of potential here.
+ The interface is user-friendly, so it was easy to figure out + I like how this general praises me after I pull off a successful move ;) Here’s how it actually works: build your first artillery piece from scratch (using parts), hire a crew, test it on the battlefield.... ??? ..... profit. This is definitely not a simulator; even though there are a lot of details, the game holds your hand and doesn’t throw you into the most difficult part right away. That’s both a plus and a minus (depending on your perspective). For me, it’s definitely a plus! It was an unusual experience, especially for a beginner but if you want to take a break from popular online games and try something new - its OK.
good game overall
Excellent game with a solid and engaging structure. It’s great to see this style applied to different military hardware, and it’s clear there’s a lot of potential for future content. I was happy to buy it knowing I’d enjoy it.
Impressed by the initial gameplay experience, it looks very promising. I’m looking forward to spending more time with it and returning with a more detailed review soon.
