I don't often write reviews and I've got less than an hour of playtime but from what I played so far I can say that this type of piloting in vr is exactly what I wanted out of vr mech game. Its very reminiscent of the Armored Core games in terms of gameplay and even has similar controls despite being played in through a different medium. I love how action packed the game feels. It honestly feels like I'm actually piloting a Gundam or an Armored Core. The soundtrack I'd say is also very reminiscent of Armored Core as well and it fits really well, I haven't heard a stand out track yet in my limited playtime though. due to its simple visuals you don't really experience any visual issues or frame drops so it makes gameplay super smooth. All in all if you like Armored Core and have vr I'd recommend this as a purchase. Will Probably update this review with improves and the such when I have more hours in game.
Very barebones
I am sorry, I know I should be more complacent to indie developers. But this game is too barebones, has terrible or plain graphics and inefficient controls. You can check some of my gameplay here: https://youtu.be/XBhyrz-3cFI
Gameplay content
The game is a collection of consecutive missions where you fulfill an objective (which seems to be always "kill the enemies") given in a text box. The missions have some other units (mechs) that go in your direction plus the scenery whose only function seems to sometimes work as cover or vantage points. The scenery is a small enclosed area with invisible walls that are shown in the radar. You earn money with each mission (even when you die, albeit a small amount) and don't need to repair your mecha after a battle. You can spend your money on improvements on your current loadout or new items to replace the ones you have. You can change the left and right arm weapons and the left and right shoulder weapons plus the mecha body. There's a tutorial in the game that doesn't really explain anything and it's just some floating text shown to you in a completely empty landscape.
Graphics
The landscapes are very bare with simple textures and rough meshes, apparently without any shadows or lighting or bump maps, effects etc. It feels like 90's graphic fidelity, in the worst way possible. There are no objects to enrich the scenario, even very basic items like trees, rock or bushes are not present.
Controls
Yikes... Why are the controls this way? The two arms are always moved at the same time via your glance and you pilot your mecha by holding some levers on the cabin and pushing them in a certain way. It's not difficult to learn but at the same time that it's simple, it's still unnecessary complication for something best done in other VR mecha games, and prevents each arm from being used independently. If you press B or Y you retract the left or right weapon and extend the shoulder weapon, so it's used. If you press it again, the shoulder weapon retracts and the regular arm with weapon extends. So you can only use either the arm or the shoulder weapon at a time. Pressing X makes the mecha leap ("boost") really high, in fact it seems like it flies and apparently this doesn't have a limit. Once enemies are in range, a target appears over them if the aiming cursor (guided by your glance) is close to them.
Bugs
I haven't experienced any bugs whatsoever.
Sound
The music chosen for this game is terrible, too loud and doesn't fit the scenario (feels like festive folk music or something like that). The sound effects are passable. There is no voice acting. Everything is presented via text boxes or floating text.
Linux
With the Meta Quest 3 headset, the game crashes WiVRn with a xrizer error dialog, but works with ALVR and Steam Link. Using Archlinux / RX 7900 XTX / Ryzen 7 7800X3D / 64GB DDR5 6 GHz.
Conclusion
It's a game, alright... Runs ok, has busywork for you to do but it's too basic for modern standards, controls aren't good, graphics are terrible and the gameplay isn't really enjoyable. I hope the next games of this developer can add more to the gameplay loop, graphics, etc.. But I don't recommend this one even on a sale, because it feels too raw.

This game made me ascend into Newtype.
Once you learn and spend the time it takes to get used to the controls and adjust them in the game options the game starts to feel a lot better and more playable. The controls and interface could be more refined as the hands on the joysticks do not follow your physical hands/controllers, you dont move them up to turn the joysticks up or down you just kinda twist your hand controllers, it took a while for me to understand that one. Kind of bare bones but it is in fact Armored Core Clone in VR. More buttons and switches in the cockpit would be nice, clicky cockpits are amazing to play with in VR, VTOLVR is a good example of simple button layouts in the cockpit adding a fair amount of depth and control over your vehicle. I would rate this game about 6.5/10 as it is definitely worth the price and a play through if you like Mech games like Armored Core/Gundam/Battletech but there is a lot of room for growth as well. The suit and weapon designs could be more appealing, the English translation needs work but is very appreciated and more or less gets the point across, and the HP balance of the non Armored Doll enemies seeks a bit tanky for cheaper mass produced machines. The maps are pretty barren and generic but serve their purpose. I would love to see a sequel to this that is more refined.
