ARKADIANAX is a passion project developed by Ale Navarro between 2011 and 2013 during late nights after work, using an old-school game engine and fueled by pure love for classic retro games from the Atari era.

Important Gamepad Notice

Wired Xbox 360 and Xbox One controllers are fully supported. Most generic USB controllers work great as well. Some wireless devices may not work properly, depending on the model.

Important Local Co-op Notice

Due to technical limitations, local co-op requires two controllers connected at the same time. Keyboard + controller combinations are not supported. Co-op mode features more enemies, tougher encounters, and a whole lot of fun!

Originally released in 2013 on the now-defunct Desura and approved through Steam Greenlight back in 2012, the game spent many years dangerously close to remaining forever trapped in Steam’s “Coming Soon” limbo.

Thankfully, longtime players continued showing genuine interest in playing ARKADIANAX again, and an invitation to Bullet Fest helped finally bring the project back to life.

This Steam version also includes several minor improvements, gameplay tweaks, bug fixes, and additional polish compared to the original release.

I truly hope you can connect with the retro spirit of the game and enjoy it as much as I enjoyed creating it from the heart.
