A cool and compact take on roguelites with heavier-feeling combat in a beautiful grim world with zany characters, and the possibility for some broken-in-a-fun-way spell builds.

one of the best indie games i played recently, the retrolike music really got me going, and the boss fight was super fun

Started this game and couldn't let go until I finished it. I enjoyed it very much. I really liked the various spells and how you can stack different upgrades and runes together to make a powerful and kind of unique build in each try. The art, environments, character design, story, and music are also very unique. There are some minor bugs here and there but nothing that will degrade the experience. Kudos to Broken Cane team for creating this beautiful experience with such a small team.

the art style and thematic is insanely pretty, however the gameplay needs more flush out, the stamina and movement is clunky sometimes, and the game get boring after an hour or two.

Aris Aracanum é um reguelike divertido, o fayto do protagonista usar uma bengala passa uma sensação de falta de dinâmica, mas muito pelo contrário, Clyde é um mago habilidoso, que precisa atravessar a biblioteca arcana atras de uma comapnheira, enfrentando criaturas criadas com a tinta (ink), um ser viscoso que corrompe e da poderes quem entrar em contato, os arcanos do jogo estão estudando essa criatura e seus poderes, e na bilioteca foram presos diversos monstros quando a Tinta se espalhou pelo local. Cabe Clyde atravessar o horror, aprimorar seus poderes e resolver o problema. ___________________________________________________ Aris Arcanum is a fun roguelike. The fact that the protagonist uses a cane might give the impression of a lack of dynamism, but quite the opposite — Clyde is a skilled mage who must traverse the arcane library in search of a companion, facing creatures born from Ink, a viscous being that corrupts and grants power to those who come into contact with it. The game’s arcanists are studying this creature and its powers, and within the library, many monsters were trapped when the Ink spread throughout the place. It’s up to Clyde to cross through the horror, enhance his powers, and solve the problem.
