Eggs: perfection in two parts. The simple whites. The sublime yolk. Each the lesser without its partner. Chorus and verse. A symphony of flavor. The catchy tune reminding us of warm baths and late-night movies. The elevator music to whatever lies beyond.

About

Embrace the truth in Arctic Eggs, or the Tale of the Modern Odysseus. Slip into the boots of a humble Poultry Peddler, stripped of rank for crimes forgotten. Pan in hand, set forth and feed the hungry inhabitants of this humble habitat. It’s all in the wrist.
What are fish but eggs with extra steps? What is bacon but pigs without the fluff? How long should one cook a cigarette? Such questions have plagued poets and kings since man claimed fire. Perhaps in your journey you’ll find the answers. Or like, at least the answers for YOU, dude. That’s what matters most.
Everyone has a story. All you have to do is listen. Or don’t. You can just click real fast to get to the cooking parts. It’s not like we’re watching you. YOU bought the game. You can play it now YOU want. I mean, who am I to tell you what to do? Not really my vibe.
The game isn’t hard. Cooking is.
Can you cook an egg on top of Mount Everest? I am not sure. But perhaps that’s irrelevant.

Nice Egg.
need to try fried egg and cigarette at least once
Short, absurd, and fun
This is a weird one for me- on the one hand it has a lot of things going for it (cool vibes, interesting gameplay), but I feel like the game gets in its own way with its 2017-era "lolsorandom" style humor. There is consistent internal worldbuilding that is cool, if a bit zany, but the characters all feel like a millennial trying too hard to be funny and I don't think I laughed at a single joke. It would have been better if the game took itself more seriously. I also personally started to find the gameplay annoying towards the end (especially how unforgiving the hit detection is for cooking things), but there is an easy mode so that was just me being a masochist. Overall I was pretty satisfied with my time, even if it was short. There are glimpses of greatness in there, but you have to get through the internet humor to find it. The actual main story is pretty short (I finished it in ~2 hours) but there's replayability with hard mode and sandbox mode, so if you really like the gameplay I think it's worth the price. That being said, I'm giving it a no because I didn't have nearly as much fun with it as I thought I would. If there was a "meh" rating, I'd give it that.
Huevos y cigarro, muñeco de barro
Reading the reviews, I was skeptical about the game mechanics. It turns out everything works perfectly. Everything just clicks. There's a dark charm to the whole thing: it's fun, a little deranged, the dialogue is surreal, and the atmosphere manages to be oppressive and alienating at the same time. I swear I could smell the frying while I played.
