Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Sep 1 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Archipelago, developed by Tort and published by Conglomerate 5, is a small but charming indie strategy game that captures the free-spirited essence of piracy within a minimalist and tactical framework. Rather than chasing cinematic spectacle or large-scale realism, it focuses on the thrill of discovery, light management, and the joy of building a pirate legacy across a cluster of tropical islands. Its design philosophy embraces simplicity without completely abandoning depth, creating an experience that’s accessible to casual players but still capable of engaging those who enjoy measured exploration and strategic decision-making. It feels like a blend of adventure and resource control, presented in a compact, easy-to-approach package. The premise places you in charge of a band of pirates roaming through a chain of islands in search of treasure, resources, and control. Each island you discover comes with its own challenges—whether it’s rival colonists, hostile natives, or the logistics of managing your crew’s morale and supplies. The player’s main goal is to expand influence by conquering or liberating islands, gathering riches, and unlocking new areas to explore. The structure is straightforward but satisfying; every victory adds to your pirate empire, and every defeat reinforces the need for tactical caution. The game strikes a nice balance between open-ended progression and defined objectives, ensuring that each new island feels like a small step forward in your pirate saga. Visually, Archipelago takes a modest but effective approach. Its graphics aren’t pushing any boundaries, but they work well within the game’s scope, using clear, colorful visuals that evoke the sun-drenched seas and lush greenery of tropical territories. The presentation is clean, emphasizing function over flash. Islands are distinct enough to avoid monotony, and the interface is neatly organized, which helps the player stay immersed without getting lost in excessive detail. The game’s soundtrack complements the tone perfectly—lightly adventurous and rhythmic, evoking seafaring energy without overpowering the mood. Combined with its simple but atmospheric sound design, Archipelago succeeds in creating a sense of worldliness and travel, even on a small scale. The gameplay loop revolves around exploration, expansion, and skirmishes. Sailing between islands and engaging with their inhabitants is the heart of the experience, and while the mechanics are easy to learn, there’s enough nuance to keep things engaging over time. Strategic choices—such as when to attack, when to trade, and how to balance your resources—carry real weight in determining how quickly your influence grows. Combat and diplomacy are handled simply but effectively, giving players a range of options to pursue their goals. The mix of strategy and adventure is where Archipelago shines most, allowing for both methodical planning and moments of impulsive piracy that break up the rhythm. It’s a design that rewards curiosity and steady thinking rather than reflexes or micromanagement. That said, the game’s indie scale does impose clear limitations. The variety of encounters and mission objectives can start to feel repetitive after several hours, as the loop of exploring, conquering, and collecting gold doesn’t evolve much beyond its initial concept. Players looking for a grand, narrative-driven strategy game will likely find Archipelago too shallow in terms of storytelling and world-building. There’s little in the way of overarching plot or character development—this is a sandbox experience through and through, relying on its mechanics and pacing to sustain interest. Additionally, while the simplicity of the controls and systems makes the game approachable, it also means that players seeking intricate mechanics, deep AI behavior, or emergent gameplay might find it lacking in complexity. Still, the charm of Archipelago lies in its focus and accessibility. It doesn’t overcomplicate itself with unnecessary systems or convoluted menus. Instead, it invites players to relax into the rhythm of exploration, to enjoy the gradual accumulation of wealth and territory, and to lose themselves in the fantasy of commanding a pirate fleet on a sunlit sea. The short play sessions make it ideal for players who want something easy to pick up and satisfying in bursts. The game also benefits from its affordability and modest system requirements, making it a low-barrier entry point into strategic simulation for those who prefer indie titles that prioritize playability over production value. Ultimately, Archipelago is a game that embraces the spirit of independent creativity. It’s small, self-contained, and confident in what it wants to be—a light, adventurous strategy experience with a distinct pirate flavor. It may not rival the complexity of major strategy games or the narrative heft of large-scale adventures, but it succeeds in delivering a consistent and enjoyable flow of exploration, expansion, and tactical decisions. For those who crave a relaxed yet engaging pirate experience, Archipelago offers a satisfying voyage across its sunlit seas, proving that even a humble island chain can hold treasure for those willing to sail beyond the horizon. Rating: 7/10
Not bad.
The tags are so wrong. It is a really great real-time strategy puzzle game that looks sh*t :). There is no coop or multiplayer in it. You get to an island. Your task is get the booty and stay alive. You can only hold 1 weapon or item, and you drop it if you fall. The challenge is to make your enemy drop their stuff first or overwhelm them. It is a truly unique experience that is worth more than its price
