So this is similar to a lot of these choices based dating sim with similar tropes, and character archetypes. Shy girl, emo boy, stuck up girl ext. I don't say that as a negative, as I think part of the reason why someone would be play this kind of game and then see how the game takes those tropes and how the character evolves. To that I think they do a good job. I do wish you had some more customization on how your character looks, and how the story played out. However, I think overall it is well written, and while not totally voice acted it was more voice acted than I would've thought. To that point I think the voice acting is very nice. I think like most of these games the value comes from how much you enjoy each of the characters to do the different routes with different love interests. I think my first run about 8 hours, I'll probably run through it at least one more time and maybe even 2. At which point I think I the game is definitely worth the cost. If you're not sure if you'd like a visual novel I would say wait for a steeper discount. If you're a fan of the genre I would say you're likely to be pretty happy. Final Grade: B
Great game, can't wait for whatever story this studio makes next! :D
I love Hannah so much, but I really wished this one had a "top" female romance option for us lesbians such as Victoria from the first game.
An outstanding sequel! There is so much replayability, and the character relationships are somehow ever better this time than the last time. The gradual way you gain friends and companions is very rewarding, and none of the romance route feels repetitive. There is even more customization that actually matters, I love it so much when pieces about the character have a mechanical effect. I think I prefer the minigame in the last game, but the pathways here are also fun and interesting, with a very handy hint mechanic built in. Just generally a very fun and interesting game in a world with fascinating lore that I hope to see more of.
I absolutely adored playing through Arcadia Fallen II! The writing of the story is so much fun and kept me theorizing what would come next in the story, all of the characters were entertaining and so easy to connect with and enjoy how they grew and changed over the story. I'm looking forward to seeing what games Galdra Studios comes out with next, especially if they continue the story and lore of the Arcadia universe.
My favorite visual novel! It is truly a great one, specially if you played the first one and get the references and lore.
Really great Game, thank you for this Story! Can't wait for new advantures in Arcadia Fallen III ;)
