I would say it's a pretty simple game, you pretty much know what your getting yourself into with this one, it has nice background music and not bad in terms of sound effects that gets played when you find items hidden away from you furthermore what I did find somewhat weird was the hint actually had a cooldown so keep an eye out for that from what I remember. Regardless, it's a short game and you will have your fun with it!

It follows the same formula as the other games, but somehow it was messed up. Look, I get it, finding cats is usually fun, but I really wish the dev would put more love into this one. It’s free, so I guess I can't complain too much. I would rather skip this one and search somewhere else.
This is one of hundreds, if not thousands, in the endless flood of minimalist 2D "find the hidden object" minimum effort shovelware games. "Apartment Filled With Cats" follows the exact same formula as all the others... click around a minimalist drawing to find a bunch of hidden radishes or whatever. I'm not kidding, there's so many of these now. That makes it impossible to point at just one of them and say this is worth anyone's time. This is effectively a glorified browser game. It makes you wonder if the developer decided Steam is a perfect competitor to Chrome or Safari. PC gamers don't invest thousands in high-end gaming rigs just to run something that belongs in a browser tab from ten years ago. The other problem is just how many of these there are... they're practically spamming the Steam store at this point. It's close to pollution... mass produced slop that genuine game developers have to try to compete with to get visibility for their more seriously developed games. And that's not good for gamers, or for real developers. This game features very lacklustre minimalist "art" for graphics instead of anything remotely contemporary. I'm sure the "developer" thought this would come across as "artistic", but it doesn't, it comes across as "really lazy". Yes, contemporary 3D graphics take a lot of time and effort to create. That doesn't mean it's okay not to bother! Developers must try to understand that gaming is a visual medium, and gamers spend a lot of money on high end gaming rigs for a reason. And that reason is not so they can look at lazy, phoned-in half efforts like this. Let's look at the price and what kind of value this actually offers gamers. This is "free" enough (not every "free" game in the "free" section is truly free, there's usually some hidden price tag), at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good, and the cost of a game is more than just financial, your time is valuable too. A peak of 6 concurrent players (according to SteamDB) for a "free" game is a disastrous public reception. Out of 130 million potential players here on Steam, almost nobody was interested. Even though this is "free". That level of rejection speaks a lot for the quality of the game. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? What's the verdict? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.

I'm only recommending this because it is free. There is one level with 90 cats to find. It took me less than 3 minutes to complete (I had to leave the game running in order to write a review). Many of the cats look like cats, but some of them don't look anything like cats at all. By the end I was just clicking randomly on everything to find that last "cat". No glitches or technical issues. There are two achievements; one for finding all 90 cats, and one for finding "the hidden item". If you want that achievement, check out the guides.
FUN GAME.
Cute game. Very short. Had to leave it running to even be able to leave a review
