Reviews
Aside from two current issues that I'm aware of (see below), this game is great. You eat stuff smaller than your fish until you gain enough exp to reach the next size, at which point you're able to eat one more type of fish. The game reminds me of a game I used to play on the Macintosh, Odell Down Under. It can be a challenge to dodge everything coming at you from different angles/speeds, but you naturally get better at tracking everything on the screen the longer you play. There are stars that drop at random which give you short-term invulnerability and allow you to eat whatever you can catch. You occasionally see little Exp bubbles floating to the top of the screen which can be very beneficial but also troublesome; I found that you need to click on them rather than eating them, which can cause you to lunge in a direction you don't want to go. There's a slow meta progression that you can access via the main menu. You occasionally accumulate enough exp in-game to earn a point that can be applied to speed, starting level, or exp multiplier (my personal favorite). As for the issues I've found: 1) Achievements didn't trigger for me on PC 2) I'd occasionally die seemingly out of nowhere with no enemies near me -- this got frustrating when I was doing really well, but thankfully the game is entertaining enough that I could just jump back in. I was able to beat this game (and try some of the daily challenges) in ~1 hour. I'd recommend it at a discount -- unless you'd like to show some extra support to the dev team. I had lots of fun with this and plan to go back to try some more of the daily challenges.
