Cool little game, had fun with it.
old school and old-style (graphic) Computer RPG at its best. recommended for people who like old CRPG like Ultima series, Exile, or wasteland, but prefer something that has more modern graphic, UI, control (with mouse), and simpler gameplay (no making note included).

Gave it a lot of chances, just not worth the time and effort to put into a sub-par game that is missing a lot of what makes a CRPG good. The limited amount of enemies to fight and finite amount of resources you can find in the game, not to mention how choked you are on currency to do anything worthwhile (if you spend gold on gear you can't spend it on the trainers, and you need both but you can't). You also can't customize your characters in a way that satisfies because no matter what you're missing a lot. You can at most have 3 skills that you're working towards on any given character but even THAT is too many skills and you'll always feel like you're lagging behind against even rats, crabs, and seagulls. Also RNG can bite you in the butt too, if you need 'seagull skin' for a wolfkin's pelt quest, if you didn't luck out in the rng combined with getting foraging up high enough (which involves making your combat skills worse so you're hobbling yourself in the long run) you're likely not gonna get the drops you need for the quest - and remember, the enemies are finite meaning if you killed all the seagulls and they didn't drop enough pelts? Too bad, that quest is bricked on your save. I love CRPGs, and there's stuff in this game I love, but do yourself a favor and give it a pass. P.S. Even the modding scene is abysmal, people have looked into it and the only things they can tweak is dialogue-based, you can't even mod the game with fun stuff. Sad.
I don't reccommend this game it was rushed to release and didn't cook long enough.
This game is alright. I got it on sale, and I'm happy with that. It scratches the low commitment dungeon crawler need I have. There are quality of life elements missing to be sure, but taken with a grain of salt, this game is pretty enjoyable. One aspect of this game that I really enjoy: The equipment your characters wear shows up on their models.
painfully simple and awkward to navigate. not much feels like an "old school" game besides the graphics and heavy reliance on rng to get anything done (50% chance to pick the easiest lock when using a thief, success for heal spells only 70%)
This game is worse than it looks. If its artstyle/graphics do not appeal to you, I can not recommend it. If it does however, there's a good amount of fun to be found. It starts pretty strong, but falls flat more and more as you progress. + great character/party creation with lots of races and talents + decent turn-based combat + all armors and weapons are visible when equipped + fun magic, although it could have more spell diversity + cool skill/stat/talent system - extremely bad dungeon layout! probably the worst I have ever seen (you know when a dungeon has so many crossroads, you lose track and don't know where to go first, and having to go back to check the other path. EVERY dungeon is a maze like that to the extreme) - very boring quests (fetch this, kill them) - boring story and dialogues (after a while I didn't care to read them properly anymore) - orientation is difficult as the minimap has low fidelity, cannot be zoomed in or out, and on top of that the overground world layout is very bad and maze-like too, you have to go back and forth a lot and remember where things are - too long playtime for what it is Nevertheless I had ~30hrs of fun with this game, after that I had to force myself to go on. After defeating the endboss, it didn't end. Maybe it was not the endboss afterall, but I'm not willing to fetch more stuff for nothing. So I treat this as completed.
