Reviews
You might find my review bias due to my close relation to the developer; which is completely understandable. But, I'd like you to read this through. For a team comprised of a single teen developer and his friends, they have come a far way. This is just one of the many learning experiences they must go through in order to grow and evolve into a name known by many. Playing the game for the first time was kind of underwhelming yet interesting. To not know your environment around you is eerie. Using your handheld scanner you map out the features and learn the story of the level. While scanning you can find random anomalies occur, which can be often frightening. Although, in certain spots, lacking in art and map design; I feel that the potential outweighs it. Those who enjoyed Scanner Sombre might find themselves wanting more game-play. With the current workshop system those of which are able to create their own levels and tell their own stories how they see fit. I think if this game were to bear a niche community of map designers, it would be quite enjoyable to explore the maps and then to be scared by these "anomalies" chasing you.
unfortunately, this is nothing but a prototype. also, it's not original enough to endure its horrible state. a few of the issues: -everything is ugly. -sound design is horrible. every effect hurts your ears and nothing works together. -you can only change the window mode, sounds, and the fps limit. seriously, couldn't you even add a sensitivity setting? that's all, because there is nothing else in this game. this is nothing but a concept test, and it's about an unoriginal concept. i suggest you don't buy, and it seems like nobody but the developers' friends bought it anyway. also, i just realized that it's been over a year since this came out, and i doubt it will get any better.
Do not buy this is WAY too early development and needs too much work
amazing game with simple, yet effective graphics. it has some amazing developer made maps, and hopefully will get an awesome array of fan made maps in the near future.
great game, great concept, excited to see how much it will change once its fully released
Interesting Concept. kinda reminds me of games in the dread x collections. Played it for a while and had fun :3
Cool potential, monster is really annoying, you have to break line of sight for it to lose you. No key binds menu to check to see what button your suppose to press. But the concept has a ton of potential
i bought the wrong game plus this game is boring
