Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The game tries to do way too many different things and doesn't do any of them particularly well. It's not terrible, but it's completely unremarkable.

Game is OK but I did not like it as much as I wanted to. Really like the aesthetics of the game. In the world of online games and massive open worlds I always enjoy straight forward linear games more. Positives: Lovely art style, Straight forward linear game with few side quests which are simple but not the busy work distracting from the main story. Liked the map - clearly highlighting visited spaces and doorways and side/main quests. Really helped the game in my opinion. Negatives: Story and characters is the main weak point for me, not sure if the game even explains who everyone is but towards the second half I was skipping the text dialogs as game was just full of characters appearing and disappearing without much explanation. Just too obscure for my liking and no real character building anywhere. Upgrades and skills - noting felt really substantial or that it made much of a difference. I guess the enemies were getting stronger in exactly the same pace so character always just felt the same. Same with upgrading weapons. Enemies remained mostly the same without much variation. Use of action/F button. Same button is used to interact with the environment as to skip a dialog. Every time my companion would start talking I would skip that conversation by trying to pickup an item/open box. To be fair that companion never said anything useful, which is probably another missed oportunity. She could have been useful to clarify the story and put some pieces together. I have finished the game but it was feeling like a grind towards the end and did not have me invested. I was mainly driven by my OCD to finish it rather than any satisfaction. Its a real shame for such a great looking game and potential.
How to Describe Anno: Mutationem? Well, other than confusing people of the Town-building Supply Chain mamagement series that also uses the title of 'Anno', Mutationem is a very different beast from that series. To begin with, and most obviously, it's a combination of cyberpunk and supernatural events in a 2.5D world, with side-scrolling melee and gun combat. The pixel-style art for the characters, while not unique, is well-done, giving each named character a unique silhouette and style. You will meet a few dozen characters throughout the game, however, and while the game does have a database listing each named character you meet, for the most part, you'll simply forget about the vast majority of the characters due to how limited their interactions are with you as you play. The Music, while not memorable, fills a rather neat niche for the game, ranging through the various subgenres of what people might deem 'cyberpunk' music overall. There's a few instances of music that stands out, but I am hard pressed to remember any track titles. The gameplay is a fairly simple, but satisfying loop; go to an area, loot everything you can find, talk to everyone around you to suss out hints of plot, and be directed to the side-scrolling areas wher you promptly beat various thugs, mutants, goons, and robots into their component parts using a holographic sword, non-holographic gun, or, later on, a bigger sword, or even two swords at once. Now, a critique about the game is that unless you are using a controller plugged into your computer, there's not only the possibility of input lag (Turning off vSync helps but does not totally alleviate this), but just as frustratingly, whenever you're given control, you have to re-input any inputs you were doing before losing control of your character in a cutscene; For example, if you were holding left to run away from something and a cutscene pauses the chase, you'll have to re-apply the directional input. A small thing, but just bothersome enough to make note of; some people would be reasonably annoyed by that. I cannot talk about the story without risk of spoiling things, but it's very clear that the Developers took inspiration from the Online SCP wiki, a Community-created database of various supernatural gribbly things ranging from harmless to incredibly dangerous. Overall, the game's an easy 8/10, as despite some small frustrations via control re-input and a very awkward keyboard control scheme (Seriously, plug a controller into your PC), it's well-made, adventerous, and charming.
I enjoyed my time with the game while I was plying it. But it didn't really hold my interest outside of it, resulting in me playing it sporadically over a few months. I wouldn't say this is an issue with the game, and more likely to do with my either, waning or little interest in 2D action games. Afterall, you have access to a good variety of attacks, spread over a handful of weapon types, along with dashes, dodge rolls, double jumps, blocks, and counters. The last of which I never engaged with because the game never made me have to For better or for worse. However, I do recommend engaging with the weapon Mod system as this will make your life easier. Will make enemies with what seems to be unreasonable health, go down like an enemy with reasonable health. The stylized pixel art is an absolute treat, and the music while I don't have any earworms or absolute bangers to speak of did provide good atmospheric vibes. If you are familiar with the cyberpunk genre, you will recognize many of the tropes, although it fuses it with a touch of fantasy, and... a surprise toward the end of the game. One which I did very much enjoy. I won't speak of the story as, if I played it sporadically so I won't be a good judge of it. Unfortunately, after beating the Final Boss, my game bugged out in such a way that I was denied seeing the end of the game on my own playthrough, having to resort to youtube to see the ending. I've sent a bug report to which I have yet to see a response to. Ultimately, if you like 2D Action games, I'd say this is a good one.
