ai slop
It's a generic memory matching game, this time featuring primates. It's mediocre at best, and just not worth money in my opinion. It's more like something I'd play on a website as a flash game to waste time. It's just a memory game featuring images of primates in an anime artstyle, which are very likely created using AI. At least it has that uncanny feeling of AI. There are 50 levels with increasing difficulty where you match all pairs of the same cards without making too many mistakes. To some people, this game can be relaxing, I guess. Something that bothered me that doesn't have to do with the game itself is the tacky cursor and the menu. The cursor looks like someone had visited too many of these "free mouse cursor WOW" websites (similar to when I turned my cursor into a burning super death sword. Shoutouts to Vinesauce Joel, which the cursor shenanigans remind me of), and felt somewhat irritating at times due to how over the top it is. As for the menu, I'm pretty sure that menu items shouldn't be moving that much. I mean, it's cute that they do, but not exactly user-friendly. These are just a few nitpicks though. As for the possible, even likely use of AI, I don't mind AI being used in such ways, but things created by generative AI should NEVER be sold for money, as no effort has been put in to create them. In my opinion, AI generated images make this game even more worthless than it already is (given the game's generic and flash game-y nature), because nothing stops you from using the same memory matching game template and generate 50 or so different images of anime primates yourself. Overall, there really isn't as much to tell about the game itself as there is about issues around the game. It's just one of many template flips with different pictures, probably using AI as well. This would be fine if, and only if they were free. It's just not worth paying money for basically a flash game that probably mostly consists of AI generated content.
