Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Animal Rivals is a casual party game that clearly aims to recreate the energy of couch multiplayer chaos, placing fun, accessibility, and humor above mechanical depth or technical sophistication. Developed and published by Blue Sunset Games, the title is designed first and foremost as a social experience, one that thrives when played with friends gathered around the same screen. From the moment players select their animal characters and jump into a match, it becomes apparent that the game’s primary goal is to spark laughter, competition, and spontaneous moments rather than deliver a finely tuned competitive system. The structure of Animal Rivals revolves around a selection of distinct game modes, each offering a different type of challenge and pace. Instead of locking players into a single formula, the game encourages variety through modes that test speed, coordination, and opportunistic play. Some modes focus on racing through obstacle-filled arenas, others emphasize collecting or delivering items under pressure, while certain challenges reward destruction and quick reactions. This rotation of objectives helps keep sessions lively, as players are constantly adapting to new rules and scenarios rather than mastering one repeated mechanic. Character selection adds another layer of personality to the experience. The roster consists of a range of exaggerated animal characters, from more familiar creatures to deliberately absurd designs that lean into cartoonish humor. While the characters do not differ dramatically in terms of abilities, their visual variety and animations contribute significantly to the game’s charm. Unlocking new characters gives players small goals to work toward, even if progression remains intentionally light and secondary to immediate gameplay. Visually, the game embraces a colorful and stylized aesthetic that favors clarity and playfulness over detail. Environments are bright and easy to read, which is important in a fast-paced party setting where players need to quickly identify hazards, objectives, and opponents. The simplicity of the presentation ensures that matches remain readable even when multiple players crowd the screen. Sound design follows a similar philosophy, using upbeat music and exaggerated effects to reinforce the playful tone without overwhelming the action. Where Animal Rivals shows its limitations is in depth and longevity, especially for solo players. The game is clearly built around local multiplayer, and without friends to compete against, the experience can feel shallow. There is little in the way of narrative, extensive progression systems, or meaningful single-player challenges to sustain long-term engagement. As a result, the game’s appeal heavily depends on having a group willing to embrace its silliness and accept its rough edges. Technical and balance issues have also been part of the conversation around the game. Some matches can feel uneven depending on mode or map layout, and occasional bugs or awkward physics interactions can disrupt the flow of play. While these issues are less noticeable in a relaxed group setting where unpredictability is part of the fun, they can be frustrating for players seeking a more polished or competitive experience. Ultimately, Animal Rivals succeeds most when approached with the right expectations. It is not designed to be a deep competitive title or a refined solo experience, but rather a lightweight party game meant to fill a room with noise and laughter for short sessions. For players who enjoy local multiplayer games built around quick rounds, simple rules, and chaotic outcomes, it can deliver enjoyable moments of rivalry and humor. Its value lies less in long-term mastery and more in the shared experience it creates, making it best suited for social play rather than extended solo sessions. Rating: 5/10

Very nice game
Looks kinda weird at start but grows on you. Can be fun on local play with friend, Especially runner mode. Got this cheap and have cards. Might give some fun if you get past ugly graphics with cartoon network creeps style.
Claws and fangs collide Physics flings the beasts around Rivals fight for turf
