A very neat visual novel game about dragons! Story is very well written with quite a lot of branching pathways ways to interact with main cast. For the price, I feel the amount and quality of content here is really good! Something that I would like to give big props to this game for is how they weave in the act of us gamers "replaying" the game as a part of the story. I won't spoil what it is, but this is treated as an "in-universe" deliberate action on our part and its very cool to see a game actually do this. To date, this is the only game that I know of which does this! I also really like how it doesn't shy away from some of the darker and harsher topics of life, touching even on things like death, depression and grief. For a game about making friends with dragons and dating them, its quite the heavy topic to broach and I applaud AWSW for doing it so well. About the only thing I would suggest for improvement is that there be ways for us to reset certain plot points to allow us to experience certain things again without having to delete our existing save file. Minor issue though. Other than that this is a super solid game and I highly recommend it to anyone who is a fan of dragons or visual novels!

Feels like a good beginner friendly visual novel. Has about the right amount of text and gives you a decent amount of agency. It's very committed to it's premise and it's earnest. I am not a scaly/furry (at least not consciously) and I kind of played this game as a joke, but I had a good time. My biggest complaint really comes down to my issues with most visual novels which is the way you get to certain endings is a bit unclear. After getting kind of a bad ending on my first playthrough I looked up what I was supposed to do to get the good ending, and frankly it was kind of illogical. Basically I had to pick one of three options during an investigation, but it was unclear that that option was related to the character I was going for. It kind of feels like I would have needed to consult a guide to get to that ending, or do a bunch of trial and error. But that is a common issue with visual novels.

It's an okay game; my thoughts on it certainly aren't 'overwhelmingly positive' as Steam's review system might have you think if I were to leave anything other than a negative review here. Writing is average, artwork is average, music is average. Gameplay doesn't give you anywhere enough player agency to make you feel like you're truly crafting your own story yet 6 hours in you'll inevitably run into your first ending - a bad ending in my case with what I thought were completely normal choices - where everyone unceremoniously dies with no input from you and you're told "play the game again from the top, maybe you'll get a good ending this time!" but... again, I wouldn't even know where to begin with getting a good ending beyond just choosing options I didn't choose before for the sake of seeing new dialogue. I personally don't feel like the writing was engaging enough to get a second playthrough out of me even before the story just suddenly came to a close and I was invited to try again. Maybe the best part of the game is somewhere in there, but I don't feel drawn in enough to find it.

И не знаю как описать, это был ♥♥♥♥♥♥ полный в хорошем смысле, столько эмоциональных качелей я еще не ощущал, начало выглядит наивно простым, для любителей новел даже банальным, но дальше...☠️Короче не хочу проходить эти концовки персонажей снова, с этими порталами и телепортациями в прошлое ваще взрыв мозга, только оклемался от одного факта наваливают еще! Если вы любите что-то про драконов, или они просто вам симпатизируют, ТО ИГРА ОБЕЗАТЕЛЬНА К ПРОХОЖДЕНИЮ. Вы узнаете ВСЕ про драконов, и почему они живут как мы, почему знают наш язык, в игре все объясняется в прохождении, начиная от вопросов щекотки, заканчивая политикой, тюрьмой, расизмом, сексом, образованием, суицидом, материнством, предательством, отчаяние с раком, и это малая часть... И да, на игру есть руссификатор на playground, оригинального автора перевода не понятно кто, но если ты это читаешь, то я бы поженился на тебе! 10 съеденных грязи из 10!!

Une excellente écriture, de magnifiques dessins, une superbe OST... Que dire de plus, foncez si vous aimez les visual-novels et les dragons ! L'écriture m'a honnêtement bluffé mais c'est peut-être parce que je n'ai pas non plus joué à beaucoup de VN dans ma vie de joueuse. Le seul "point noir" du jeu serait la traduction française qui a quelques fautes ici et là mais vu la ridicule proportion de fautes par rapport à la taille colossale du texte, je fais largement abstraction de celle-ci, d'autant qu'elle a été faite par des fans si je ne me trompe pas ? (c'était dans le workshop avant d'être officiellement implémenté dans le jeu). Je dirais qu'elle est finalement proche de la perfection, les fautes restent franchement rares. Je suis juste quelqu'un qui repère chaque faute... x)

Fantastically written characters - no one feels minor, and the storyline is rife with unexpected events. Honestly, the relationship and romance elements of the game sort of take a backseat to the plot, but they're balanced in a way that doesn't leave me wanting less story for more 1-on-1 dragon time. I completed my first playthrough and I'm very excited for my next!

It's a touching story for lovers of dragons and scaly creatures. I ugly cried, and was filled with grief in the proceeding days.
