Angelo and Deemon: One Hell of a Quest

Appealing art style but disappointing point-and-click adventure. Lacking English translation obviously not done by a native speaker. Some nonsensical and/or very far-fetched puzzles I would never have passed without a guide. Annoying characters, especially Angelo. Not enough hotspots and object descriptions. Very little music and it's mediocre.

Гра жанру "квести" від українського розробника. Стандартна гра для свого жанру. Дизайн цікавий і гарний. Музичний супровід та звуки чудові. Жарти та сатира непогані. Сюжет не дуже сподобався. Я напевно застрий для всіх цих блогерських приколів. Взагалі він добрий, але не моє зовсім. Хоча пройшов гру і думаю що купуватиму і другу частину. Головоломки та загадки трошки мені не підійшли. Надто часто я не розумів логіки їх вирішення і шукав відповіді в інтернетах. Можливо коли грав в гру був не в тонусі. Українська локалізація чудова. 10 з 10. Гру 100% рекомендую для придбання. Вона вам сподобається. Та і підтримати українського розробника не гріх.

I didn't love this game, didn't hate it, but I don't think I would recommend it except on a good discount. It was a short point and click adventure game, with relatively easy achievements, a nice art style, and interesting premise but it fell short in too many areas for me. There was one scene with a bit of a satirical version of a current political figure that surprised me and kind of put me off actually with the current political climate in the US. [*] The music is catchy when present. [*] The concept is very interesting and I did appreciate some of the humor, wackyness, and pop culture references in the game. [/list] [u] What Disappointed Me [/u] [list] [*] The storyline felt lackluster, not fully polished, and unfinished. Some of the characters stories' didn't feel consistent enough to me. I saw a second game is planned and this could be the reason for some of the open-endedness, but I prefer a fully fleshed out storyline. [*] I had a love/hate relationship with the characters. There were moments I found funny, but for the most part the humor felt a bit outdated and overly edgy just for the sake of edginess. I also didn't always understand their motivations. [*] The travel between different points felt poorly designed. I kept getting annoyed at the round about way of getting to certain areas, and there was at least one spot I wanted to get back to and couldn't without restarting from my last save. [*] Not enough tooltips / object descriptions. The puzzles didn't always make sense and a lot of times I felt like the devs purposely picked the solution least likely to be tried by the player. Sometimes it felt like I was just smashing things together and hoping it worked because there wasn't enough guidance. [/list] [u]Will I Play The Second Game? [/u] Maybe. I am curious about the story and whether or not the next game will be an improvement over this one. I am not going to rush to buy it though. If you don't mind having to trial and error things to figure out how to progress, you might like this. If you like really edgy humor, you might like this. Ganz ok. Die Grafik und Aufmachung ist echt toll. Das Spiel ist jedoch nur der Auftakt mit vielleicht 3 Stunden Spielzeit. Während wir in diesem Teil die Hölle durchmachen, geht es im kommenden Teil auf in den Himmel. Was ich an diesem Spiel ein wenig schade finde, das sind die eher durchschnittlich geratenen Rätsel und eher oberflächlichen Storyelemente, wo etwas der Tiefgang fehlt, die meisten Charaktere bleiben also eher blass. Man hat es sich nicht nehmen lassen, ein paar EasterEggs und Anspielungen einzubauen, das ist echt gut gelungen. Es gibt nur relativ wenige Orte, die auch teilweise relativ leer daher kommen. Gefühlt die Hälfte der Aufgaben im Spiel besteht lediglich darin alle Elemente im Bild zu suchen und zu knipsen, um ein Achievement zu bekommen. Ich hätte mir also von allem ein wenig mehr gewünscht, ein wenig mehr Point & Click im Spiel, mehr Dinge zum Anschauen und Untersuchen, etwas mehr Unterhaltung und Story, wo ist der ansteigende Handlungsbogen? Es hapert also ein wenig an Spiel, Spaß und Spannung - das Spiel plätschert so vor sich hin, und man ist dann unerwartet schnell am Ende. Grafik und auch der Sound ist wirklich gut, aber der Rest kommt halt nicht übers Mittelmaß hinaus. Es ist halt keine 8, wenn man es in eine Wertungszahl drücken soll, und man wird sich nach einem einmaligen Durchspielen auch nicht mehr in ein paar Jahren daran erinnern. Nichtsdestotrotz kann man das Spiel zum Preis von einem Kaffee im Sale auf jeden Fall mitnehmen. Bald wird auch Teil 2 erscheinen, vielleicht hat man dann ja auch ein wenig mehr Zeit und Geld und Erfahrung investiert, um das dann alles ein wenig mehr aufzupeppen und zu einem interessanteren Ende zu führen. Den Achievementhuntern sei gesagt, dass man 100% in einem Rutsch mitnehmen kann, man kann nur ein paar Dinge verpassen, z.B. muss man quasi alles teilweise mehrfach knipsen was geht. Fazit: als Mittelmaß durchaus was für Zwischendurch

Nunca imaginei que ia gostar tanto de um game de point and click, a essência da temática atual e tudo que tem sobre filmes e séries de terror, é algo muito bem mesclado. E Claro, nosso querido influencer combina muito com o terror dos terrores atuais, sempre querem fotografar e filmar tudo; o que gera like é o que fazem. O game é sobre isso, Angelo morreu afogado pelo vazio que vivia em seu quarto; a morte foi busca-lo, mas para ele tudo se trata de pegadinha de seu "publico" e seu alcance de 3 milhões de pessoas. Na nossa chegada ao inferno, vemos que a morte esta de saco cheio das bebeiragens dos jovens e de ter que fazer a passagem por qualquer motivo bobo que não seja o fim natural da pessoa. E ai começa o Show de referências do jogo. Temos politico corrupto que quer o melhor no inferno, temos clássicos do terror abandonados por serem mortos por crianças, pirata maluco, hacker e barman do inferno. O game esta traduzido para o português, tem alguns erros na tradução; porém ele pega a essência do nosso idioma para algumas piadas. Funciona muito bem o game, tudo nele acaba fazendo sentido ao nosso personagem. É mais do que recomendado, diria que essencial para quem já é fã do gênero.

On an everlasting quest to find the perfect PnC games, I found this game on sale and decided, why not? I was a bit dissapointed with the outcome, I really wanted to like this game. It has been 2 days that I finished this game and I kind of forgot what the story was again. I forced myself to finish this game through the cringe. The story is about Angelo, this has-been youtuber desperate for views, being mistakenly taken to the afterlife by the Grim Reaper. He then realises that this is his chance to create a once in an "afterlifetime" :3 vlog that will reanimate his dying channel or blog or wtv. Soon after he meets Deemon, a former gangster turned demon after death and the two of them embark on a journey to.... well I actually don't know. Moving on to pros and cons I guess. Pros: - The animation is pretty cool. - Some jokes are funny. - Some puzzles are pretty witty. - Cool pop culture references. Cons: - A lack of storyline, I don't know what anyone's motivation is in the story. - Unlikeable characters (Overly edgy, outdated racial stereotypes and so on) - PnC games are known for its nonsensical puzzles but these puzzles were TOOOOO nonsensical. - Walking back and forth between locations was poorly designed. SPOILERS! [spoiler]A lot of puzzles had me like... really? At one point I needed to get a balloon from this clown and the only way to do it was put TNT in his brain and blow his brains out? There is no clue or indication as to why I had to do that. [/spoiler] A lot of puzzles didn't really guide me towards how to solve them. In most point and click games there are subtle hints. but in this game you are just smashing things together and hoping it works. As a PnC superfan, I kept getting distracted and delayed a lot to finish because I kept getting bored. Pros

Ein kurzes Adventurespiel, das maximal 4-5 Stunden braucht (wenn man sich viel Zeit lässt). Wenn man sich beeilt, sicherlich auch in unter 3 Stunden zu schaffen. Was nicht unbedingt schlecht sein muss als kurzes Spiel für zwischendurch, aber man sollte sich wegen der Spielzeit halt genau überlegen, wie viel Geld man ausgeben möchte. Ich würde auf einen Sale warten, 3-4 Euro finde ich fair. Im Spiel selber gibt es viele Anspielungen auf andere Spiele, Filme, Lieder usw. Das Spiel nicht nicht allzu schwer, man hat auch auf Grund des Umfangs nie zu viele Möglichkeiten, was Orte und Gegenstände angeht. Die Errungenschaften sind fair und alle machbar.

Ачивное бурилово (+ + +) простое, понятное, быстрое. Шикарный квест от отечественных разработчиков. Проходится быстро, загадки не напрягают, юмор - на уровне, рисовка оч стильная. В целом, пролюбив 1 ачивку, пришлось бурануть квест по 2му кругу, но это было на спидране, и в целом, не запарило. Разрабам рекомендую отрубить автосохран, или сделать его в будущих играх отключаемым: расслабляет тот факт, что игра сейвится. Забываешь сам делать сохранки. Потом приходишь в себя, и повторно проходишь игру. Но в целом - однозначный лайк.

Гра дуже цікава та прикольна! Мені все сподобалося, крім швидкості субтитрів, часом я не встигав прочитати. Було б круто, якби можна було б самому переключати репліки.
