Angel Essence

Not for me don't really have the patience for it, might be for you though If You enjoyed 3D platformers.

Really fun game that really reminds me of Pseudoregalia. It's short, but sweet. But I would have liked it better to play it with controller, but I just can't get used to using this camera on controller. Would love it if an invert-x option was available.

Good game, clearly inspired by pseudoregalia, but a little bit easier and more straight forward. Can't go wrong for five dollars.

Great platformer with a lot of movement juice. The game is made up of a few large levels, and within them you occasionally find a new ability. The main abilities in particular are incredibly useful and have a huge impact on how you traverse the spaces. The levels, while being largely focused on clearing platforming obstacles and distances, do have a lot of potential for exploration. You won't necessarily find something new, but it's always exciting when you do. Pulling off movement combos feels great, sometimes borderline broken. It's definitely a good game for platforming sickos. The abstract setting and chill music are pluses as well. The combat is fairly simple, for the most part. What's there is serviceable. It doesn't really detract from the experience or frustrate, and much of it can be bypassed, though you will need to do some in order to snag the optional upgrades. It makes sense for the combat to be there to break up the platforming a bit. My only real gripe is that when playing on controller, which I did for my whole playthrough, some of the obstacle courses require some difficult hand repositioning that goes beyond just reflexes or timing. One thing that stuck out was having to reorient the camera mid-air. Additionally, I would recommend looking around for information about movement mechanics in the early game, as not everything is spelled out for you. Overall, Angel Essence was a great experience and the developer shows a lot of promise for even greater things in the future.
