Warning: GameGuru Asset Flip!
Andromeda Zombies Colonies is a what Valve calls a "Fake Game". The "developer" bought the GameGuru first person shooter construction kit (no coding required, it's just a GUI!) and cobbled out a map or two using stock GameGuru assets... nothing in this game can fully be called the creation of the developer, and yet they also failed to credit GameGuru or acknowlegde any of the GameGuru assets. They're trying (badly) to pass someone else's work as their own. It's just a bunch of random GameGuru assets dropped around a really lazy, stock textured GameGuru map template. The developer splurged on buying a space station asset pack, so that was a waste of money. Let's be clear, GameGuru is a completely godawful construction kit. If you try to take it seriously as a game, you'll find no resolution or graphics tweaks, no controller tweaks... it's horribly optimised and will be sluggish even on high end rigs. You can make the argument that GameGuru exists to just make demos and little experimental games to pass around with friends, but that's not what's happened here... the developer is seriously trying to scam people into paying money for this construction kit copy+paste asset flip. That's not okay! The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 4 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 130 million gamers on Steam and well over 140,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. So, should you download this game? Is this one of the best of the 140,000+ products on Steam? Andromeda Zombies Colonies has no upfront cost, but just because something doesn't have a price tag doesn't mean it's valuable. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.

Andromeda Zombies Colonies released very shortly after Andromeda 2 Zombies. While the other Andromeda games got slightly better with each one (they are still absolute trash obviously), Andromeda Zombies Colonies feels like a step back. The amount of levels got reduced to 1 again. The level still plays on the desert planet, but this time there are no huts, but instead just one long white corridor. The level may have gotten a little longer through that, but not really anymore exciting (The background sky also changed slightly) . This corridor is totally empty and only filled with 100 zombies. That is a lot more zombies than in the previous games and apparently should compensate for the loss of levels. The Dev also changed the button on a stick, that signals the end of the level, to an steel door to nowhere... The gameplay didn't get anymore entertaining in this iteration. Nearly all weapons remain the same (rocket launcher got added) and the Zombies also didn't improve at all in comparison to the predecessor. The game even got worse, if you consider, that the amount of Zombie character models got reduced from 8 to 2 in Zombies Colonies. I am honestly worried what is going on with the Dev. He has released 4 really bad games, that are far closer to being Tech-Demos than actual games and his improvements are so small, that it is ridiculous. Even people, that have no idea of making video games could within 1 week with certainty produce a game, that would be superior to any of the Andromeda games. Yann Geffrotin on the other hands takes multiple months between his games and has nearly nothing to show for it. If you consider that every release on Steam costs him around 100 Euros, you have to seriously worry about his mental health. I at least hope, that he either really dedicates himself to next Andromeda game and actually delivers something worth playing or quits entirely. Andromeda Zombies Colonies is a step back and not worth playing. 1.25/10
Just like the first zombie game you can run around the building and avoid the zombies. I will say it is a little more difficult due to the building itself and zombies hiding behind the corners
It's free lmao

Its creations exactly like this that give the GameGuru classic Engine a bad reputation. No effort, No original assets and definitely no care.
