Andromeda is a hybrid between a Space 4X and an MMO. An online universe sandbox with 2 galaxies full of planets to colonize. Build structures like Mines to generate resources to build ships and engage in fleet battles with NPCs and other players, or just sit and chat with the friendly community.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. Copies below reflect the player base, not paid sales.

About
Andromeda isn't like most other games, it has been slowly developed by one person for years now, and the direction it has taken has been constantly shaped by feedback and ideas from users to make it what it is today.
It's not super fast paced. You can't really pick it up for an hour and get much out of it. It's intended to be a digital universe in your pocket with its own virtual economy and a community of people that will probably be around for awhile.
To be clear though, it's not an idle clicker game, it does take thought and strategy to succeed.
It is heavily economy oriented, with an emphasis on colonizing entire solar systems full of planets and building structures on them to generate resources over time, making it a bit of a mix of a 4X space game (Explore, Expand, Exploit, Exterminate), Universe Simulator, and a Tycoon game.
Fleet battles are 1v1, so while you can't be in the same fight with a friend, you can help defend your friend's territory from attacks by leaving your fleet in orbit over their planet.
The universe is persistent, so anything gained is kept, allowing you to build up a large interstellar empire over time.
Gameplay -
Play as an interstellar Corporation that warps to the safety of the Andromeda Galaxy to escape an alien invasion of Earth and The Milky Way.
Build up an economy by constructing and upgrading habitats for workers, solar arrays for power, resorts for tourists, mines and refineries for metals, and much more.
Hire a Stellar Representative that levels up and gains perk points that can be used to boost the efficiency all the planets in a solar system.
Use the resources you've harvested from your planets to build ships and outfit them with weapons and support modules.
Create colony ships to expand your Corporation to even more planets and moons.
Terraform your planets to make them more habitable for your Workers and Tourists by altering the planet's Temperature, Water Level and Pollution.
Form fleets of up to 12 ships and retake Earth, Mars and the rest of Sol from the aliens known as "Strith", or fight against other players and take their planets.
Not into PvP? The starter system and Andromeda galaxy is completely PvE, so you can build freely without being harassed by other players.
Trade with other players for credits, resources, ships, weapons and support modules, or use the Bazaar to leave orders to buy or sell resources while your offline.
Form alliances with other players and work together.
Fleet Battles -
Leave a fleet in orbit over a planet to protect it from other players while you're away.
Ships automatically fire at targets with basic weapons like gattling guns and lasers.
Players have control over unique abilities such as Nuke, EMP, Prism Gel, Draw Fire, Focus Fire, Repair Beam and Shield Beam making fleet composition and strategy important.
Hire a Fleet Commander that levels up from fleet battles and gains points that can unlock perks that boost all the ships in their fleet.
Land Battles -
Build defenses on the surface of your planets as a second layer of defense against other players that takes a lot longer to destroy than a fleet.
Fill up troop transport ships and enter orbit of another player's planet to land your troops and invade it.
Free to Play? -
Free to play with Non-Pay-To-Win perks for available for micro-transactions.
Micro-transactions can buy one thing: Time Crystals.
Time Crystals can be used to skip building and repair timers, buy alternate ship skins, paint ships, buy cosmetic holograms, open a mystery crate for random stuff, or re-roll resources on a planet slot.
None of the stuff you get from Time Crystals is going to make a huge difference compared to time played, and the build timers aren't that long forcing you to skip them to enjoy the game, with a buildings being 1-10 minutes usually.
Time crystals can also be occasionally obtained as in-game loot.
Also available on Google Play for Android, but I'm not allowed to post a link to it here.
Maybe an iOS version some day, I don't own a Macbook to build it on.

The developer is addressing the problem of selling people their own time back for money and chose to go with selling cosmetics and eye candy instead. It is a rare case where a Developer listens to their gamers in this regard. Really hope it pays off. They can add so many different graphical enhancements to sell to people to give people unique visual experiences across so many aspects of the game. Not used to seeing devs being so humble and quick to act to address criticism of their creation. Some of the timers were horrible, the dev has reduced them so they are much more tolerable now. I can appreciate the effort that went into this game with regards to the resource management aspect as that is the key feature of the game. Truly has a grand management feeling to it. My other criticism was of the battles. The computer get to shoot off all their manual things at the same time, while I got to go around click on each ship, and then click on each ability then aim and click the ability and repeat that multiple times and not even get to finish because battles end before you get to finish clicking them all. Meanwhile the ai has already spammed all their abilities multiple times simultaneously. It's just ridiculous. As if my ships wouldn't have semi competent captains that would all know to use their abilities too as soon as the battle erupted. It just ruins it for me. Either allow ours to also be auto deployed early, or make the ai only deploy one at a time with a human reaction time delay to balance it. update: there is an ai feature so the player hands over automatic control to the ai, which basically brings the player on par with the ai. Sad that have to sacrifice the only real active tactical aspect of the battle in order to make it balanced. The game definitely has a lot of resources, production and industries to manage. That is it's core feature and strength. It is quite expansive as you progress and colonise new planets as you expand across the stars. The trading feature is ok. Not great not bad. If you have a friend to trade with, it's cool can really balance out. Also some of the traders out there are very friendly and helpful, as are the people in chat. But if you are looking to play the traders mini game of buying low and selling high you won't find enough action for that. And other than to buy, you will struggle to sell against players who have already huge stockpiles of resources and can easily undercut you. Leaving little to be made from resources unless you already huge in that market. The looting seems good and it's fun to get loot and find things you need and haven't got or can't get naturally. Will keep playing to see if discover any other things to report. It's free game, so nothing to lose except your time and sanity. The developer Saturn has been very helpful and engaging, even offering personal help in game to players. Thank you. If the game could somehow break out of its limiting shackles and offer the player improved combat to complement the rest of it. I would like it a lot more. But it would have to offer a player a choice of when to be passive and when to take manual control and really have the player control more of the battlefield and allow crucial tactical and strategic decisions have more bearing on the outcome. Instead of just pure power level. If you want to get far in this game prepare for a grind. And prepare to face people who basically live in the game full time and can't wait for you to get into pvp. The upside is that you can still enjoy the game extensively without doing any pvp. The grind and imbalance though, for the Interstellar rep it's super easy to get them to level 50, you will level up several really easily. But for the Fleet commanders, let's just say 1500 battles will only get you about half way. Grind...Grind...Grind some more. You will burn out of playing this game before you get a fleet commander to 50, and all the clicking back and forth is tiresome, the menus have not been adequately linked, so you are always clicking more times than really necessary if there were just more shortcuts to things in multiple screens. This game mostly keeps you busy on non strategic busy work instead of fun rewarding satisfying strategic gameplay.

It has great potential, ftp and not ptw (unless you go hardcore PvP), but the UI is really poor. For instance: to see the list of your trades you have to click 1. storage - 2. any item - 3. open bazaar - 4. view my listings. (and that's assuming you're at the home page where you can even see the storage button). That's a 4 level tab tree. No game should have a 4 level tab tree. Worse yet, often when you finish a task on a window, but want to do something on the previous window, you have to close all the windows and then go back down the tab tree to that 3rd level window. It can be 5-6 clicks just to get back 1 window. Say you want to re-configure your 12 ship fleet each with 5-6 components and every time you change 1 component on 1 ship you have to click 4-5 times. 12x5x5 = 300 clicks! To the developer: All you really have to do to fix the UI is consolidate many of the windows and add a back and forward button like a web browser for navigating them. The back and forward button would be the best way to make it more user friendly without much programming. People dislike reading guides & wikis until after they have decided to regularly play the game and I didn't see a menu tree guide anyway. Back and forward buttons allow much easier learning of the windows. As it is, I had a very hard time remembering under which tab tree I saw a particular menu & once I found it I then had a hard time finding where I was before. Back and forward buttons would allow us to simply keep going back until we found it. We could then go forward to whatever we were doing before. The fewer mouse clicks a person has to do to accomplish a task, the better. Currently, the amount of information and usefulness for each window is simply too little so there are too many windows under 3+ levels of tab trees AND those tabs are not always in a row or column, sometimes they can be anywhere on the screen so it often forces us to move our cursor from one side of the screen to the other just to switch tabs. The game does have bugs too. I have a leader I spent a ton of experience on and she's lost in the ether - visible, but unusable. Edit: The developer fixed this bug at my request. Edit 2: The UI and combat is just too clunky and tedious for my taste so I uninstalled the game.
It's a fun 4x lite kind of game, I enjoy that theres enough to keep me occupied in setting up production and planets without becoming too overbearing or restrictive like stellaris. There is player market and looks like most things can be traded there or directly with a friend. The UI is pretty rough, for example the star map scrolls painfully slow and the missions that serve as a kind of tutorial should be placed front and center so dummies like me can't miss it. The combat is kind of simple, and I wish there was more interactivity or something to actually play with my friends instead of alongside them but it's free and I've enjoyed my time so far these are really the only complaints I have now. Also the dev seems to be really involved with the community and is very on top of fixing stuff, that's been a refreshing change from what I'm used to elsewhere.
this game has potential but in its current state its basically unplayable on an end game scale. massive game breaking bugs are a regular thing. there are no in game moderators what so ever so aside from automated suspensions for too many accounts there is virtually no check on the toxic behavior of the player base. pvp is drastically slanted to the defender and taking over a full system for a single person can take weeks and the defender can just instantly populate other planets. players can run full pvp fleets from a protected set of starter systems so there is no way to really cripple your opponents and the end game combat is lacking in any sort of diversity. maybe in a decade it will be playable but after over a thousand hours playing this game i must say that i am truly disappoint.
Game can not be played as is with the mechanics as is. Forces you to play pvp with a disproportionate gap in players. Community just waits for new players to do the work and then take it, all while you are trying to finish the plot.
I don't mind that the game takes a long time. I like games like this. Usually the queues continue to run while you sleep, but this game stops when you shut it off, so you have to leave it running while not much is going on. This is a good game, but I'm not going to burn out my computer for it.
Андромеда: Перерождение Человечества — ММОшка космическая. Игрушка чем-то похожа на возможное внебрачное дитё от Eve Online и Sin of a Solar Empire,
Game has potential;however, the UI in its current state is very difficult to use. There is no tutorial. The game is a long term builder and battler. Would love to see a better way to control your assets and potentially protect them for at least a week before being attacked by other, stronger players. Nature of the game as is.

Normally I used to complain about crowded UI with small text or controls... welll... this game exactly the opposite: damn big UI elements (probably due the mobile support), what is just as bad as the crowded UI screen - just in the opposite way. The game might be good (altough I saw nothing groundbreaking what I saw in other mobile games - build this, built that, wait for timers, wait for resource collection etc) - but usability is terrible, I gave up after 30 minutes. Message to the DEV: I think you should decide if you want to make a mobile game or a PC one and adjust the UI accordingly. Trying to satisfy both worlds with the same UI results bad experience on both platforms.
