About
PlanetX is a real-time strategy MMO that redefines large-scale multiplayer warfare. The battle begins on Planet Alpha, where dozens of players start with seven land plots each. Unlike traditional flat maps, the entire game takes place on a fully spherical planet, adding an extra layer of strategy to territorial expansion.

Players must build and expand their empire, constructing various structures and managing resources. The first challenge is achieving a perfect balance between resource extraction and production to fuel economic growth. Once a player amasses enough wealth, it's time to assemble a powerful army, featuring tanks, aircraft, and missiles.

A unique aspect of PlanetX is its energy-based warfare - tanks and aircraft are fully electric, requiring charging stations before heading into battle. Units will fight until they run out of energy or are destroyed, making strategic deployment and resource management crucial.

The ultimate goal? Total planetary domination. The first player to conquer every available land plot on Planet Alpha claims victory and earns a ticket to Planet Beta, where even greater challenges await. As multiple Alpha champions arrive on Beta, the war escalates to an entirely new level.
Everything in PlanetX - construction, battles, resource trading, and land deals - happens in real time, ensuring a fast-paced, dynamic experience. Do you have what it takes to rise as the supreme ruler of the galaxy?

Graphically the game looks nice, the controls are smooth and while units could use some better explanation, everything makes sense. Seeing it's a beta, I'm sure that could be solved later. However, this game falls into the trap of most MMORTS games. Whoever plays the most, wins. While I am sure there are defensive strategies where you can hold a position for a decent amount of time. A player who logs in during the morning, afternoon and evening, will always win from someone who only plays a few hours in the evening. Not only is it hugely beneficial to wait for a player to leave before you decide to attack them. People who play longer will also have a much better upgraded economy. So that even if you clash while both are online, the player who plays more will have either better units, or more units. I like the idea and have hope to see an MMORTS succeed one day, but based on how this game is structured, I don't think even with overhauls you can overcome the balance issues.

The game in it's current state is really time consuming, and kind of pointless unless you are a crack head that stays up for 24+ hours. I think a faster paced version would give a lot of customers what they are asking for. Nothing more frustrating then setting up all night, and then waking up to your ♥♥♥♥ destroyed. This is a game that requires your full attention for 24+ hours.
i know it just launched but 24hr shield for a 24 player pvp game???? and progression is so terribly slow... idk who would play TBH
This is a free game that is very well done. It is not played by many people though. I hope that the dev can make bigger worlds, so that more people can play. I have not experienced any bugs. It is a very good slow paced strategy game, It makes you think, like a game of chess. The dev should also consider creating a ranked ladder. It would also be nice if we were able to play more than one game at a time.
The game has no balance. It is absolutely awful in that matter. Does not play like a RTS game at all... Just massively flawed! Looks nice on the face of it , but the systems used are awful and had no real thought behind them... Exploits are in play or cheating as they are also known... Dev/Devs need to learn how to think , merely making a game is never good enough in an rts title you also have to make sure that balance is done well and that the system in place is robust enough to actually work and not open to people using exploits/cheats (they are usually one and the same). Will not be playing this game in the future as it is unfixable in the current iteration and the model makes sure that it is not possible to fix... Hint for the dev/devs is a game called cossacks and how it evolved in pvp gameplay , that game is very old now , but the problems in that game are similar to this game... As a dev for a rts title you should at least be aware of how rts games work!
Гра прикольна, чимось нагадує мобільні ігри, дуже повільна і проста у навчанні, один мінус це повністю пвп гра, нажаль проти ботів поганяти вечорами не підійде
played one night for few hours..now when i login nothing happens...I don't know where to ask for help.
horrible game , dont waist your time , people will wait till 4 am to attack your base and wipe your progress with like 4 units , dont put any time into this unless you plan on being online 24/7
First of all, it's free to play, so I don't know how there are so many negative reviews. Just try it yourself. It reminds me of an old game called Outscape. The winners will be the ones who can put in a lot of hours and check constantly for attacks. You have to accept that it's the kind of game that rewards being online, a lot, and you can lose most of your buildout while you sleep, work, take a shower ... It's a rush when you're in your attack wondering if the other player is going to log in. You'll find yourself wondering what will happen while you're offline. The in-game tactics provide some challenges, and there are phases/progression to your buildouts. Try it out but when you can give it a good amount of time your first day. Building out aggressively under your login timer is important.
