Anderson (Alpha)

[h1] Experienced on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers. Spoiler-free and hidden spoiler review [/h1] This is a cute little escape room experience. I did have to restart twice because of disappearing objects and I did get stuck because I hadn't realized something very simple [spoiler] the option to open the security locker after entering the code at the terminal does function (I hadn't noticed that it did unlock because the grab didn't work very well and I missed reading the text. [/spoiler]. It seems items can sometimes disappear if they hit the ground, although one item was in my hand when it disappeared. The grab function for opening / closing stuff seems to not work as good as it should. The whole experience can take 5-20 minutes depending on your skill. I had fun. I think it's worth the download. You can choose a teleport option at the start of the game if you have a small room-scale. I found the voice of Anderson A.I. and the dialogue to be enjoyable as well. Rate 6.5/10. Spoiler walkthrough below. [spoiler]You start off awakening in a cell of sorts where an AI wakes you up. The first thing you need to do is find the red key card that is hidden underneath a paper on top of the cabinet. Use that red keycard to unlock the cabinet. Once you unlock the cabinet there's a hidden code painted on the cabinet drawer, so remove all obstructions to see it. Enter that random 4 digit code (it's different each time) and press enter into the computer terminal. Once you unlock the computer terminal, there is an option to unlock the security locker. Do that and open the locker and you'll see a large stick. Grab the stick and look up. Ther are lamps up there and you can knock off a lever from one of them. Once the lever drops go ahead and put it somewhere safe. Now find the square with the glowing ball on top of the cabinet. Try to put it next to the terminal where it says quadratic decoupler. Drop it and it should break, leaving the ball to pick up. Pick it up again and put it on the quadratic decoupler. Then add the lever you got a while back. Now go to the terminal and choose the initialize power sequence. Crank up the lever until you get to 100%. Then you have an option to delete Anderson. Select yes obviously. hahahaha just kidding ... or am I? *evil grin* [/spoiler]

Anderson is a free VR Escape the Room game. It worked on my HTC Vive system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok. Try it, you might like it.

Works well. Short. Free. Physics well done. Choose teleport option if your playspace is smaller than 1.8 meters.

This is a very fun little escape room game that took me about an hour to complete. Anyone who has VR and loves puzzle games should definitely check it out!

A Short but Entertaining Experience, definintely worth giving it a shot.

Pros: Voice Acting - even having voice acting in a free vr game is astonishing, and this is pretty good quality Price vs Playtime - first playthrough took about 12 min, but it's free so... Story - it's short but actually quite thought provoking Replayability - I can guarentee that you will play through this at least once more Cons: The design of that darn crank thing

Game was fun and it was free. Loved the voice acting! Would try another game in the future from the same devs.

Anderson ist ein wirklich kurzes Escaperoomspiel. Selbst Anfänger sollten hier in unter einer dreiviertelstunde wieder raus sein. Die Steuerung läßt netterweise Roomscale und auch Teleport zu, sodaß man auch gemütlich im sitzen spielen kann. Interaktionen werden mit der Griptaste ausgeführt, bzw. man berührt Knöpfe usw. mit den Controllern. Leider verfügen wir mal wieder nicht über Hände ... Da das Spiel nichts kostet und der Entwickler sogar noch einen patch herausgebracht hat, kann man als Escaperoomfan ruhig mal reinschauen. Es kostet ja nichts.
