Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Anarcute is an action strategy game developed by the indie studio Anarteam and published by both Anarteam and Plug In Digital. Released in 2016, the game presents an unusual concept that immediately sets it apart from most action titles. Instead of playing as a lone hero or a traditional army, players control a growing crowd of adorable animals participating in a massive uprising against a corrupt and authoritarian regime known as the Brainwash Patrol. The result is a chaotic but charming experience that blends elements of beat-’em-up gameplay, light strategy, and crowd management into a colorful and energetic adventure. The premise is intentionally simple yet effective. In a fictional world dominated by powerful corporations and oppressive forces, ordinary citizens have been silenced through propaganda and militarized police control. Eventually, the population begins to revolt, and this resistance movement takes the form of adorable animal protesters determined to reclaim their cities. The player leads this rebellion, traveling across several major cities around the world while dismantling the influence of the Brainwash Patrol. Although the story is presented in a playful and lighthearted manner, it subtly touches on themes of protest, resistance, and standing up against oppressive authority. Gameplay revolves around managing and directing a constantly growing mob of animal protesters. At the beginning of each level the player starts with only a few characters, making the group relatively weak and vulnerable. As the level progresses, additional protesters can be freed from cages, rescued from patrol units, or discovered hiding throughout the environment. Every new recruit strengthens the crowd, allowing it to perform more powerful actions. This mechanic creates a satisfying sense of momentum as the small group of protesters gradually transforms into a massive, unstoppable mob capable of overwhelming heavily armed enemies. The size of the crowd directly influences what abilities the player can use. A small group might only be able to push objects or throw lightweight items, but once the mob grows larger it gains access to powerful abilities such as synchronized ground stomps, large-scale object throwing, and devastating environmental attacks. With enough members, the crowd can even topple entire buildings or destroy large defensive structures that initially seem indestructible. This progression system gives each level a dynamic rhythm where players begin cautiously and eventually unleash chaotic destruction as their forces grow. The environments themselves serve as interactive playgrounds filled with destructible objects and improvised weapons. Cars, traffic signs, fire hydrants, bicycles, and countless other objects scattered throughout the city streets can be picked up and thrown at enemies. The game encourages players to constantly interact with the environment, turning everyday city infrastructure into tools of rebellion. This destructible design adds an element of unpredictability to the gameplay, as players experiment with different ways to defeat enemies or clear obstacles blocking their path. Opposing the player’s rebellion is the Brainwash Patrol, a militarized police force equipped with increasingly dangerous technology. Early encounters involve basic police units that can be easily overwhelmed, but later levels introduce more sophisticated threats such as armored vehicles, robotic drones, sniper towers, and powerful mechs. These enemies force players to adapt their strategies and carefully manage the size and positioning of their crowd. Losing too many protesters can significantly weaken the mob, making it harder to survive against stronger enemies. The game’s campaign takes players across multiple cities around the world, including stylized versions of locations like Paris, Tokyo, Reykjavik, and Miami. Each location features its own visual identity, environmental hazards, and mission objectives. Some levels focus on capturing strategic points or destroying propaganda towers, while others involve defending protesters from enemy attacks or defeating powerful boss units. This variety helps maintain a steady pace throughout the campaign and ensures that the core mechanics remain engaging across different environments. One of the most distinctive aspects of Anarcute is its art style. The characters are designed as small, round animals with exaggerated expressions and charming animations. Rabbits, cats, bears, penguins, and many other animals join the rebellion, creating a colorful and diverse crowd as the player progresses through the game. The contrast between these cute characters and the large-scale destruction they cause creates a humorous and memorable tone that defines the game’s personality. The environments also feature a vibrant and stylized aesthetic that complements the cartoonish character designs. Cities are presented with bright colors, clean shapes, and simplified architecture that makes it easy to track the chaos unfolding on screen. This visual clarity is especially important when controlling a large crowd, ensuring that players can quickly identify enemies, hazards, and destructible objects during intense moments. The audio design reinforces the energetic atmosphere with upbeat electronic music that plays during each level. The soundtrack builds momentum as the action intensifies, matching the growing scale of the player’s mob. Sound effects such as crashing buildings, thrown vehicles, and cheering protesters add to the sense of excitement and chaos that defines the gameplay. Together, the music and sound effects help maintain the game’s fast-paced and celebratory tone. Another appealing aspect of Anarcute is its replay value. Throughout the campaign players can unlock additional animal characters by completing optional objectives or rescuing hidden protesters scattered across the levels. These unlockable characters allow players to customize the appearance of their mob in future playthroughs. While these additions do not change the gameplay mechanics, they provide an incentive to revisit levels and search for hidden collectibles. Despite its strengths, the game is not without its limitations. The core mechanics are relatively simple, which means that extended play sessions can sometimes feel repetitive. Many missions follow a similar structure of gathering protesters, destroying enemy forces, and completing objectives, so players seeking deeper strategic systems may find the gameplay somewhat straightforward. Additionally, controlling very large crowds can occasionally feel chaotic, as the group may spread out or react unpredictably when navigating tight environments. Nevertheless, Anarcute succeeds in delivering a unique and entertaining experience that embraces its playful concept wholeheartedly. The combination of crowd-based gameplay, destructible environments, and charming visual design creates a game that feels both accessible and satisfying. Watching a massive group of adorable animals storm through city streets, tossing cars and collapsing buildings, remains consistently amusing and engaging throughout the campaign. Ultimately, Anarcute stands out as a creative indie title that transforms a simple idea into a memorable and energetic gameplay experience. Its distinctive art style, accessible mechanics, and lighthearted tone make it easy to enjoy, while the crowd-building system adds just enough depth to keep players invested. Although it may not offer the complexity of larger strategy games, its charming presentation and chaotic gameplay ensure that the rebellion led by these tiny protesters is one worth joining.
It's a cute little riot game that tests your skills by the option of achieving "S-ranks" of all levels. As a professional hardstuck silver player, it's definitely my cup of tea. Aside from the jokes, it's great! Controls are easy, gameplay feels great, and the challenges are rewarding. Both casual and a hint of a more difficulty level when decision making comes into play. Enjoy the destruction!
