I'm translating from Russian to English so the developers can understand me better. The game is still in its infancy. I'd really like to add footstep sounds for the maniac, some kind of visual cue to indicate his location. Change the music to better convey the tension as the maniac approaches. Add an option to turn off the music completely, but separately from the overall sound. The jumpscares are REALLY scary. I actually flinched, but it also hurt my ears. But the most important thing is that the jumpscares have no logic. At the moment when I saw the jumpscare "pounce on my face," I thought I was already dead and just let go of the keyboard, but in reality, it was just STARTING to chase me. The enemy's behavior is visually unclear. Sometimes there was no jumpscare at all and he simply chased me. Sometimes he changes his position after the jumpscare and stands behind me instead of in front of me. I also posted a video to the community (it's in Russian) of him frozen in place in the game itself, and that's the only way I completed the game. There's no balance at all; the enemy is too strong, especially when the trap, light, and alarm phases begin. It would be simply insane to play through that. But even with all these criticisms, I still had fun playing. I'm looking forward to new locations, and maybe I'll play your game with a friend once you balance it and fix the bugs. THANK YOU!!!
I will say it was a very fun game! I had a great time, but there are some tweaks that could be made. It would be very nice if the maniac had some sort of audio to know where he is throughout the building, didn't move so fast on the first initial hit, and if the doors with alarms had some sort of indication. I really enjoy the concept of what there is now and could see this game being better! Edit: I have now beat the game, but not in the way you think I did. This game in this state might actually be impossible to beat... First try: https://youtu.be/ez91UPgkAck?si=LafiRJs7SSFQoejs Beating game: https://youtu.be/xQlJjuG12zE
This game was quite an Adrenaline fueled nightmare for the fact that being chased by anything is terrifying. i love how the level gets gradually harder & in return the tension gets higher & higher, 1 step closer to escaping but also easier to get Got by the killer. I loved playing this game & would love to see how this game can be more polished for new players to come. Perfect game to have with friends online. Quick but simple & fun. Good job on this but it also needs tweaks & polish. Killer is random, appears randomly, can hear you from miles away but not nearby, clips through doors, a bit of trial & error until you get familiar to it all a few times

it's just a big keyhunt in mostly big empty building, which is crazy to say because they made it really busy and have so much garbage everywhere (and other kids the killer just ignores completely), but there's like nothing interesting going on with the building design or how you have to navigate it. mostly just big hallways, you go from room to room getting keys to get to other rooms, and at certain points every door just has board on them and an alarm, then beartraps show up everywhere. not sure if anything else is after that, cause I tapped out at that point. it just gets kinda boring pretty quickly.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eupk-NY8COs An Easter to Remember is essentially Lunch Lady on crack. Avoid a chainsaw maniac in s bunny outfit in a find key, open door loop. Obstacles like alarms, bear traps, even boarded up doors spawn the close you get to finding the exit key. It also has a co-op mode I did not get to try, but inten dto drag a friend along to rescue the kids left alive. When I played the killer did glitch (see video above). There has been an update that mayt have fixed it, but can't confirm. If not, hopefully the dev see this and fixes it. Either way, if you enjoy Lunch Lady type games, give An Easter to Remember a shot. Hopefully we'll get another map or two down the line, but for $5.99 USD thus makes for a good random game night solo or with a friend.
This has to be the best Easter themed horror game. I always try to find horror games themed after all the holidays to stream or upload let's plays of, and it's hard to find Easter ones. Since that's the case, I really appreciate this dev making this. It is also reminiscent of a recurring nightmare I had as a kid, so it scared me pretty good. It ran quite well and looks beautiful. The stealth mechanics in this game are solid. You have different types of movement that effect how intensely you're hunted. I kind of YOLO'ed and ran most of the time and still made it out, but I played it on easy. It also has quite a bit of replayability. It's a permadeath game with no checkpoints that changes every playthrough. You also get rewards for doing certain things in a run. This will probably be my backup game going forward for every Easter if no decent Easter games end up dropping. https://youtu.be/BRx46mch6gM
Although nothing really got added, I gotta say, jumping being removed helped player and killer balancing SO much. Jumping being removed limits the player to the killers level, and the killer being nerfed in the other update, allows the player to not get punished too much for getting seen. Also, just to add more to this review since it's out of no where, if the player is cornered (at the end of the hall on both floors; not the staircase) they can't get away. Since I wanted to actually challenge myself, I played onehit mode, and not being able to do anything when in these corners killed many good runs. The AI running to the player if he's too far out of view, makes this even worse of a problem because being in a different room than the hallway unloads it, causing his to sprint to the player, allowing for their only opinions to be taking a hit, or hiding till he passes. Also even though it's not that of a big deal, not being able to hear his footsteps or his chainsaw (or whatever that makes sound) limits the player to guessing whenever he's out of view, making them (in my case) hiding in a locker for a prolonged amount of time, adding to the boredom over time. Overall GREAT JOB on fixing the balancing. Please add patch notes if possible, as to not guess randomly off my gameplay for what you changed. (Will rewrite this again when the next map/level comes out) First review: Now... This was an interesting time, and in a bad way. To be honest: The killer is completely unbalanced. Other than him opening doors, his music, and the rare shadow you see, you have no way of knowing where he is because he's completely silent. No footsteps sounds for him or any other sound ques to help the player. He also teleports???? The chases also quickly turn annoying after the first couple of resets, and the fact there's nothing you can do to heal, adds a unnecessary stress to the player because there's no checkpoints. Also the random children everywhere (mostly the ones in the hallway) ruin the emersion because he just walks right by them, I think the children should be behind something hiding or in a locker, just so it makes more sense. In conclusion: Make the killer more balanced, make the children "hiding" more believable, and (maybe) add checkpoints or some other system to make progression feel awarding. P.S. Take this as criticism, I will be trying this game again if there's ever an update to see if I'll need to change my review.
