Boring.
Very good instalment, better than Amnesia Machine for Pigs, I would even dare to say it's better than Dark Descent in some areas.
Amnesia Rebirth has a couple incredible sequences and some good scares in its first 2 thirds. The last couple hours of the game unfortunately lose some of this and get a little too dense in lore building over good scares. Similarly, in terms of plot the game starts off very strong, but ends up feeling stretched too thin and fumbles its last act. Overall, I have mixed feelings on Rebirth. I think the best sequences of the game justify a playthrough. The fort segment early in the game is the absolute highlight. But the plot was weak for such a story-driven game. Grab it at a discount.

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.29/day in the week to Aug 10 → 0.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

lo recomiendo si, ciertas partes son bien mierda y insufribles pero esta pasable, la historia esta muy buena un 8/10 gracias tobi por patrocinarme el juego
Nah.
Game looks great. Acid trip story.
Amnesia: Rebirth is, in my opinion, the second best game of the franchise, after Amnesia: The Dark Descent. So like in the first game you have nice puzzles, an awesome atmosphere and also a very good graphic design. If we talk about the story: You crash with your plain somewhere in a desert and lose you memories. But what is this? :O Is it a random and scary cave? :O So dont wait and dive into it. :D What could possibly happen? :x
The Game of Minor Inconvenience.
Mild Spoilers The only thing I liked about this game was the desert fort area, it felt real and was an interesting place to explore and just be in. It had great atmosphere and background music. The puzzles there reminded me of the Dark Descent puzzles, where you are trying to navigate an abandoned area using the environment and things you find laying around. The only other thing worth mentioning is that I didn't like how the alien world took so much of the spotlight in this game. What started as a mysterious piece of backstory for Alexander in the Dark Descent ended up a familiar and worn-out location when it was never supposed to be. A couple of the areas there looked amazing in their own right, but for the most part it was very uninspired and repetitive. The voice-acted (why?) memory capsules and auto-translate journal tablets didn't help the situation either, they just served to familiarize you with more poorly written details about the characters and backstory which were unsurprisingly not very alien. When writing cosmic horror, the more you describe the unknown, the less scary it becomes. It would have been better left to the imagination like in the Dark Descent.
Can't see anything to the point that jumpscares were pointless. It was so so dark.
