Ass. Some annoying and unintuative puzzles, unlikable characters, annyoing flashbacks, stupid and annoying sanity mechanic. Some few good parts, an alright running away sequence, the Yasmin part, the Tank part. Decent story and narrative weighed down by everything else. All good parts overshadowed by the rest of the game. 4/10
Incredible game with a fantastic ending. While it has its weak points it's overall a great experience that I would recommend to any horror fan.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I liked it when i breast fed a child 3 times to see all the endings. great game.
Good story, compelling characters, great voice acting, beautiful visuals, very immersive atmosphere. Bit of a slowburn of a game, like any other Amnesia game. Don't expect intense horror experience, it is more of a disturbing game. Some of the puzzles were repetetive and at the end of the game I rolled my eyes as soon as I realize I should solve another puzzle lmao.

I really like the first half of this game. I wanted to see the Other World alluded to in The Dark Descent, and boy does Rebirth deliver. The first time you see it, it is breathtaking, and Frictional purposefully makes the early section of the game very claustrophobic to give it an added punch. The worldbuilding of the ruined empire is excellently done as well. The problem lies mainly in the second half of the game. Although it is not a particularly long game (my playthrough slid in just under 10 hours,) you are ready for it to be over with approx. 3 hours left on the clock. The early sequences in the Other World are wonderful but the later ones utilize the Wraith enemies which are not at all enjoyable. They aren't particularly terrifying, they move in somewhat random ways, getting caught in their light has too little of a grace period, and when you are caught there is this awful struggle mechanic that probably works great on controller but not on KBM. When you are caught by an enemy the game sets you back maybe 5 paces and deletes the enemy from existence. I found myself getting caught on purpose just to get the game over faster. So a mixed bag. I recommend playing The Dark Descent and The Bunker, and if you find yourself wanting more backstory, play this one. It'll feel like a breath of fresh air if you are coming from AMFP, that's for sure. Oh, and by the way, somewhere within this hot mess express is a wonderfully sad story of parenthood, loss, sacrifice, and grief.
