Very sad, pretty music, has a classic RPG horror feel to it...a bit like a mix of IB, Dreaming Mary, and Yume Nikki vibes.

Overall a very fun game. I absolutely loved the story and themes. Gameplay was simple yet complex. One problem I have with the game though, is that some puzzles (namely the love+lose=gore and the maths one for willow) had multiple solutions, however only one was correct and would let you progress. Thankfully there's a guide in case you get stuck on either of those. Otherwise the art was cute and it was very atmospheric
I fw the art direction heavy. The music was mostly okay, except for those "lofi/sleepy" versions of popular (meme) songs. Overall, the sound design fit the game pretty well. It did go well with the whole cheap looking esthetic. But some sounds, mainly the "dream select", were a bit ear raping. Gameplay as in: movement, interaction with surroundings, moving between locations felt okay, as it should. Nothing bad with it, but also nothing special. The whole idea of shared dreams, connected memories, putting it all together as an escape from real life trauma. Yeah, it resonated with me. However, what did not resonate with me were some of the puzzles. At first, I enjoyed it, there were not poiting arrows, markers, dialogs saying "oh I should go here so I can do this and bla bla..." I like this *♥♥♥♥ around and find out* approach in games, it fits here. But as you progress, it gets *too much ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around and not so much finding out*. Before I looked at the official puzzle walkthrough on steam, I was just mindlessly walking, discovering the world and guessing what I was supposed to do and how things were connected. It was fun at first, but as I said *too much ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around and not so much finding out* . I did not enjoy most of the puzzles. With some of the puzzles, I did go "oh... right" after reading the walkthrough, but I feel like it was that much dissatisfying once completed. But something kept me playing and wanting to uncover the ending. Characters were nice, I REALLY like the designs and their personalities. There wasnt much of a backstory to each of them. But to me, it was enough so they didnt feel like completely random characters. Their individual themes hit (me) spot on. To me, they were relatable, not only did I see myself, but one of my friends as well. I could easily see them as real life people going through those exact problems. Overall, it is a nice game, I enjoyed the characters, the art direction, some of the mechanics (once I get used to them), and some of the puzzles. I will definitely try to get the other endings in the future. And I'll definitely show this game to my one and only friend xd (and ofc, being free is a big +)
Honestly the game is really good and I really love the art style, but the puzzles are quite challenging and you need a walkthrough a couple times. Would love to see the game updated with a couple achievements.
I like what I've played so far, but already you can tell that the ending is bad and there are hints at sexual abuse from a step parent. I like the puzzles but unfortunately cannot solve them as the guide is not detailed enough. If someone could make a better guide with more detail, and if the developer added achievements for the endings and different stages throughout the game, I would enjoy it a lot more because I would be able to keep track of my progress and make sure I have experienced all aspects of the game.
Действительно, зачем утруждать себя
