AMBUSH tactics is an abandoned and unfinished RPG Maker SRPG. While those are kind of interesting from a systemic perspective, given that RPG Maker's engine doesn't do strategy RPGs normally, the fact it's permanently unfinished, what little plot there is starts with you in the middle of mostly-unexplained nonsense, and basically nothing except the battle system works very well makes this an easy choice to not waste your time on.
the game is baren there are litterly tons of huge buildingd like the pub that have nothing in them no npcs no decor no nothing, then theres buildings that dont even have doors.ok these are minor things though its early acces so thats to be expected (a few tweaks here a few changes there ect ect i get that) but then theres the prob of not really knowing what your saposta to be doing let alone were. I came to a point were its night time you can't sleep so you go wandering around the town and get into a fight with some monster called the agent, i stuned him (witch should have warn off after a few rounds but didnt) and proceded to hit him from behind for at least 30 mins i leveled up twice just from that and he's still stuned and standing there,so I then tryed to go to the edage of the screen thinking you have to run from the battle but that too didn't work, i'm pretty dam sure this game is broke I'd stay away from this mess till it works properly

RPG Maker strikes again! "AMBUSH tactics" is one of hundreds of low effort retro-pixel JRPG ripoffs spamming the Steam catalog, made with the RPG Maker video game construction kit... in their own words, "Our easy to use tools are simple enough for a child." Like all RPG Maker "games", this is essentially a bunch of low quality/canned assets from RPG Maker coupled with a cringeworthy high school anime club fan fiction. This is a very generic, pointless RPG that was abandoned immediately on launch, it's clear the developer had no apparent intention of completing the game. As with all RPG Maker games, the poor quality engine displays badly in fullscreen and doesn't have full HD support or any graphics tweaking options, making this unacceptable for any dedicated modern PC gamer. The point can be made that the intention of RPG Maker is to make demos and small games to pass around friends, and shouldn't be used for "professional" game development. While it might be better if this had never been released on Steam under the guise of a professionally developed game, the developer has done the right thing by making their RPG Maker construction kit effort free, but then they also did the wrong thing by leaving abandoned RPG Maker asset flip crap on Steam, polluting the place and making things worse for gamers. Gamers who want a good retro JRPG experience would be better off playing the originals, like Final Fantasy, Star Ocean or Chrono Trigger. While this is free, the quality, thanks to RPG Maker being a terrible game engine, is far too low to recommend to PC gamers.
Just like any generic RPG. Kinda throw's you blindly into the story, but you'll soon figure it out.
Bir gölge olan Red Cloud, bu destansı taktik RPG'sinde hayatta kalmak ve Centralia'yı kaosa düşmekten korumak için mücadele ediyor.
AMBUSH tactics, it feels like another generic RPG maker game, but its free and I know these games have there niche. I thought it was acceptable for what it is even if It did not blow me away or anything.
