For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Good game
Not bad.
Lovely game for casual RPG players like me. I love playing RPG games that are easy to get through as I'm usually only after the story. The game's story was mediocre, but it was entertaining enough for me to finish it.
Alphadia Genesis, developed by Exe Create Inc. and published on Steam by KEMCO, is a traditional Japanese role-playing game that proudly embraces the structure, pacing, and sensibilities of classic 16-bit era adventures while incorporating light modern enhancements. As with many titles in KEMCO’s extensive RPG catalog, it is designed to appeal to players who long for straightforward turn-based combat, character-driven storytelling, and a steady sense of progression rather than genre reinvention. What makes Alphadia Genesis stand out within that familiar framework is its thematic focus on political tension and the ethical implications of artificial life, wrapped in a narrative that gradually expands from a localized investigation into a much broader conflict between nations. The story begins with a seemingly contained incident: a murder allegedly committed by a clone. The protagonist, Fray, and his companions are tasked with investigating the crime, but the case quickly spirals into a layered political drama involving rival kingdoms, lingering resentment from a past war, and the controversial existence of clones known as Energi. This foundation gives the narrative a more serious tone than one might initially expect from its bright, retro-inspired presentation. Themes of identity, discrimination, loyalty, and state manipulation weave through the dialogue and plot developments. While the writing occasionally leans on familiar JRPG tropes—idealistic heroes, stoic warriors, emotional revelations—the central conflict surrounding clones adds a moral dimension that keeps the story engaging. The pacing can fluctuate, with some stretches feeling dialogue-heavy, but the overarching arc maintains enough intrigue to encourage continued play. Visually, the game blends two distinct styles. Exploration sections feature a top-down, sprite-based aesthetic reminiscent of classic role-playing games from the 1990s. Towns, overworld routes, and dungeons are presented with colorful pixel art environments that evoke nostalgia without feeling entirely outdated. When combat begins, however, the presentation shifts to fully rendered 3D battle scenes. Character models, skill animations, and special attacks are more dynamic and visually expressive than the exploration segments might suggest. This dual-style approach can feel slightly disjointed at first, but it ultimately reinforces the game’s identity as a bridge between retro design and modest modern production values. Combat adheres to a traditional turn-based system but incorporates a few mechanics that add strategic nuance. Characters wield elemental Energi abilities, and elemental affinities play a significant role in exploiting enemy weaknesses. A Break system allows players to unleash more powerful skills under certain conditions, encouraging thoughtful management of abilities rather than mindless repetition of basic attacks. Additionally, party members who are not in the active frontline can still provide support, which gives players more flexibility in customizing their team composition. While the combat system is not particularly revolutionary, it is polished and reliable. Encounters strike a balance between accessibility and tactical engagement, though frequent random battles may feel repetitive for players unaccustomed to old-school RPG pacing. Character progression is steady and satisfying. As players advance, they unlock new skills, upgrade equipment, and refine party strategies. The game includes optional content such as arena challenges and side objectives that provide additional rewards and encourage deeper engagement with the mechanics. Equipment management and skill allocation are straightforward, avoiding excessive complexity while still offering enough customization to personalize playstyles. For players who enjoy methodical leveling and incremental power growth, Alphadia Genesis delivers a dependable loop of exploration, combat, and reward. The soundtrack complements the experience with orchestral-inspired tracks that suit both the adventurous tone of exploration and the intensity of battle sequences. While not groundbreaking, the music effectively enhances the atmosphere and avoids becoming overly intrusive. Sound effects and occasional voiced lines add further personality to key moments. As a PC port of a game originally designed for mobile platforms, the technical presentation remains modest, but performance is stable and controls are well adapted for keyboard and controller use. One of the defining aspects of Alphadia Genesis is its unapologetic adherence to classic RPG structure. There are no sprawling open-world systems or complex branching narratives. Instead, players move from town to dungeon, uncover plot revelations, defeat bosses, and gradually strengthen their party. For some, this familiarity will be the game’s greatest strength—a comforting return to a formula that prioritizes storytelling and character bonds over innovation. For others, it may feel somewhat dated, especially in an era where many RPGs experiment with hybrid combat systems and cinematic storytelling techniques. Ultimately, Alphadia Genesis succeeds by delivering a cohesive, earnest JRPG experience that understands its audience. It may not redefine the genre or compete with large-scale AAA productions, but it offers a substantial adventure filled with political intrigue, heartfelt character moments, and reliable turn-based combat. For players who appreciate KEMCO’s catalog or who simply crave a nostalgic yet polished role-playing journey, the game provides dozens of hours of steady progression and narrative development. Its charm lies not in bold experimentation, but in its dedication to crafting a sincere and accessible fantasy tale that respects the traditions of the genre while presenting them in a clean, approachable package.
