*First Impressions* The idea of Alone But Strong is decent enough. Going from Point A to Point B to progress each level isn't bad. In fact if done right this could have been a fun Puzzle Platformer/FPS hybrid. Sadly the current state of the game feels like a Pre-Alpha build for this idea. The shooting mechanics are barely functional with hip fire being inaccurate and the Muzzle Flash and gun recoil making ADS difficult to use because you can't see where you're aiming. Boring straight line AI and unbalanced enemies. Level designs are unappealing to look at and I wouldn't be surprised if some were already made and placed in the game as is. No way is this a fully finished game worth £4. Put this in early access, give it some more development time and lower the price so people won't feel ripped off. Then once you have added more than 2 guns, 4 enemies and rebuilt the game mechanics, that's when you can charge a higher price. You get put in an area and kill a bunch of zombies and some mechs Some of the zombies just chase you and scratch you and other shoot fireballs at you as for the mechs one has a turret and the other has homing fireballs The gunplay is not very good but this game is $5 Would say it's only worth that price if this game had coop https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x6Y0w5wlm2M i play for about 14 mins with no commentary

The game doesn't look great, the enemies are fairly simplistic, BUT for some reason, the game is pretty fun. I like the level design, if not the aesthetic. The enemies do evolve, ability wise. The actual gun play is pretty mediocre but at the $5 price tag, I am giving it a thumbs up. Better than I expected. https://youtu.be/-uWaWmyY8fc

This mindless action game had no business being fun, and yet I couldn't stop playing it. True, it looks cheap and basic, but has more gameplay that most games out there. The goal is to reach the end by killing enemies across 19 stages. You have a very limited arsenal that includes a pistol with unlimited ammo, grenades and an assault rifle. Ammo and health packs are few and scattered across the level. Health recovers automatically every 20%; for example, if it lowers to 79 percent, it can only be restored to 80 percent, but if it dips to 81 percent, it can be restored to 100 percent. You’ll be shooting the same enemies in every stage. A suicidal zombie that explodes in a ball of lightning and a fireball-throwing zombie are the two varieties of humanoids who rush at you in a straight line. There are also two varieties of bipedal mechs, one with gatling guns and the other with homing missiles. Humanoid foes are ruthless and will pursue you wherever you go. They're even capable of jumping up on the roof. The only glaring negative point is that you can't change weapons while reloading the assault rifle. When you try to switch to the pistol, the change happens only after the reload animation is done. Reloading is pretty slow so make sure you're in a safe spot. The game can be finished in a couple of hours on normal difficulty. There are no achievements or collectibles to encourage another round.
