I played the demo. I liked the demo. I purchased this game because of the demo and the "cool" looking graphics and style. And then... I quickly discovered a lesson I've learned long ago with games. "Don't judge a book by its cover" While this game seems to take its inspiration from the movie "World War Z" and it has frantic, fast, and relentless zombies... it quickly turns into nothing more than running in circles kiting the zombies over and over and over and over and over and over. "Zombie Kiting 2020" would have been a much more fitting name for this game that in the end is about as shallow at that ditzy blonde we all knew in high school. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i4fgvOJtdLo&feature=youtu.be I really did want to like this game. But it just fades too fast and lacks any depth what-so-ever and this makes it lose it's initial luster very quickly. - There are no power-ups, no different guns to buy or earn, no character upgrades of any kind, nothing to craft, no bosses, no real progression that makes you feel like you're advancing in any way. Ugh. - While I understand this is a zombie shooter, some kind of story and reason for why we are here would help - Three maps and many different waves of zombies, but it doesn't matter what map or what wave you advance to, it's just the same thing as before.. run around in circles until all the zombies form a line behind you allowing you to stop and shoot, run and reload, stop and shoot, run and reload, stop and shoot, run and reload.. rise and repeat 1,000 times over. Zzzzz. It looks "cool" and the graphics are awesome, but it just quickly loses it's initial burst of appeal.. kinda like a cool firework that looks amazing for 3 seconds and then you're left looking into the cold night air. - Another game that proves once again that we need to STOP judging games, movies, books, and people by what they look like at first glance and start searching deeper. This game scored a perfect 10 out of 10 score from me in the "graphics" department, but because it's so damn shallow in gameplay and depth, it only mustered a total score of a 65%. Not Recommended... unless the price drops to $3 or under OR the developer(s) adds substance to the game to keep it interesting and make it something other than running around in circles kiting the zombies over and over and over and over.

I got this game for free and frankly, the price this game is set to, I wouldn't recommend it, not even 1 euro. This game has so many flaws, unless you really want a serious challenge due to the lack of proper gameplay mechanics, I'd only recommend avoiding it. Can't sprint, jumping is weird, like a jump dodge. When firing your rifle it goes from thirdperson into firstperson instantly, and for a game where you must outrun AI, it only slows you down. Horrible cel-shading graphics, older games 20 years ago delivered better (like Jet Set Radio, 2000). The audio from the AI zombies is annoying and loops for 5-6 seconds the same, and is a mixture of sounds, even a small amount of child microphone squeaking can be heard, which is horrendous on a loop. Then there is the worst: The game text starts in chinese, imagine being an english buyer, on an english store like steam and the games default language isn't english. Now if the developer would fix and change these things, then the game would be worth for some players out there.
All Of ZHEM is a Digital Homicide style asset flip. The "developer" paid for/pirated a few Unity asset store packs, dumped them all in a blender, and submitted it to Valve as if they're real game developers. I think in fairness there's probably a couple of original assets here, but it's hard to tell because everything is very low quality. As always one of the hallmarks of an asset flip is when the assets are mismatched, and while this isn't a 1:1 copy + paste of an entire asset pack, it's got all the same problems as one. Two notable criteria for what makes an asset flip instead of legitimate use of stock assets are whether those assets comprise the majority of the game, and whether the "developer" properly credited the people who created most of the assets in the game. This game fails both of those tests. The "developers" here didn't credit any of the artists and real, actual game developers who created the assets here, so this is plagiarism, as well as cash grab shovelware. The assets this time have been arranged into a really basic, low quality third person wave survival shooter where you shoot waves of samey zombie assets. It's incredibly shallow stuff. There's no English translation for the game menus etc that I could find, but that's ok. It turns out, the language of bad games is universal. Despite not being in Steam Early Access (where this arguably belongs), the game is missing features and is apparently incomplete. Due to the lack of meaningful progress from the developer, it's unlikely the game will be completed at all, yet the developers reprehensively have their hand out for money for an incomplete game. This is a good reason for gamers to avoid this. All Of ZHEM didn't appeal much to the people who own a copy of the game, either. It has achievements, and they show us a very clear picture that the game didn't really capture any interest from gamers. The most commonly and easily attained achievement is for scoring "Silver", trivial to get, but less than 20 percent of players bothered to get that far before uninstalling the game. Hardly a success story, gamers just weren't all that interested in the game. The poor quality of this game is also reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 3 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 50,000 games for gamers to choose from (over 9,000 completely free titles), the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. All Of ZHEM has the greedy, cash grab price of around $4 USD, it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product, especially considering the sheer number of completely free, much higher quality games on Steam.
Profile Features Limited!
Valve have marked this game as "Profile Features Limited" at the time of this review. This is usually caused by poor sales figures and low community acceptance for the game (to date). Until this status changes, this game will not give you +1 to your Game Collector badge count, appear in profile achievements or any other Steam meta-accomplishments, nor can it be displayed in some profile showcases. If these factors are important to you, it may be worth holding off before buying this game.
